Mines does not do that but when every a movie get in an action scene and everything starts moving fast their are these little digital boxes that are very visible on the screen.
Idk if u got this fixed yet, but if not, just call them and they should send a guy out to readjust some really advanced settings, and may even give you a different HD DVR. this is what they did for me when I had this problem.

I've had Comcast since forever and never had a problem with them, except once a year maybe a high speed internet outage.
Their cable service is flawless...
