  • the mother of all bradycardias!

  • omg i was gonna say... daym this guy is asystole and their asses are laughing

  • This isnt true Asystole. This is just an ECG with the electrodes not applied. This is evident as the gradient of the line and they are clearly laughing

  • code blue in progres exept my fire dept calls it a doa

  • cool cpr time call my fire dept ill be happy to do cpr

  • All right.

    Start CPR.

    He is in asystole.

  • No one is trying to impress anyone or "be clever" by using medical "jargon". This type of terminology is used to attain relative uniformity with all medical professionals. If you had the slightest clue about medical terminology, you would know why arrhythmia is the best word to describe it. Ponder this: How can it be just an "irregular heart beat" if there is no heart beat (asystole)?

If you have that kind of attitude towards medical professionals, I think you would be a sad sap to work with.

  • The person this was aimed at is not a medical professional and he or she was using it to makes them look good. Oh and yes i do have a clue about medical terminology i have only spent 4 years doing a medical degree. This was not aimed at fellow medics it was aimed at one little person who does not have a clue and was using our jargon to someone who is NOT a medic he should have explained what these words meant that's why i was pissed off

  • Alright then, I missed that part. I recant that last statement and apologize.

  • Thats ok i understand how it looked i would have thought the same if i had seen it recently no need to apologize no hard feelings.

  • as we can see that type of asystole still hs some P waves... but the heart is no longer beating...

  • ah! flatlines...that not so flat :P

  • Sweet video.

    BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Time of death, 1200

  • well it´s rather time of missing second electrode

  • is pacemaker similiar with atificial defabilator?

  • no. a pacemaker sends out electrical signal repeatedly to MAINTAIN one's heartbeat while an ICD delivers a large current to RESTORE normal rhythm during arrythmia.

  • Where is the alarm?

Where is the pulse ox alarm?

Where are the people who SHOULD BE DOING CPR?

    Where is real medicine?

    He's in asystole yall.

    Let's get moving.

  • I got a question. Where did you get that video? Did you do it? If so, I have a little question. Do you have a pulse oximeter? If so, could you do a demo with it for me? Just like put it on and tell me what all the buttons to? And show me all the alarms too please. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!!

I'm fixing to add your video to my FAVORITE'S.

    GOOD!

  • aw, where's the "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep"?

  • Where the heck do you see P waves? That would be a pretty extreme first degree block if those waves were to be considered P waves.

  • everywhere lol

  • more like 3 mgs atropine, and a high does epi, with 7 mgs

and prehaps external pacing because the monitor shows P waves

  • 1 mg atropine!!!!! get me some epi too!!!

  • did he live?

  • Yup, adrenaline too while I start the cardiac compressions :)
