  • Anyone here seen Fredryk Phox's Summer Cabin? Awesome use of it in there.

  • I played this before laying down for a rest on my bed. i didnt realise i become so fuckin entranced in this music.great track.

  • SPECTRUM WARZ!

  • Ominous. Fun and suitable visuals I think. I like both these artists, so this is a pretty interesting piece. Neet, I like it. It's pretty and scarey, reminds me of a misty graveyard at night...

  • The soundscapes of a genius mind.

  • @iorost

how could one possibly know they can lucid dream without remembering the dream ?

Suck my dick you gormless fag.

  • its amazing!!!

  • Wow....the colours... I can't remember taking any drugs today!?!

  • perfect collab

  • this is incredible..

  • probably one of the best songs in the UNIVERSE

  • @venadem not a song, man

  • lab mix part two (laurent garnier) ends with this ...... classic .....

    welcome to the future

  • I.N.T.E.R.C.E.P.T.O.R.

  • Why wasn't this piece featured in Inception?!

  • I N C E P T I O N

  • @stefanosGP real question is are the songs in your fauvorites considered as music. This actually has some thought put into, unlike timbaland, new snoop, etcetc

  • @stefanosGP

    no, this is heavens noise

  • Sick.

  • Fabuloso

  • @zonalGman mean favoloso?

  • @13crapa. Maybe I mean favoloso too. Fabuloso is just urban slang meaning great, fantastic, wonderful etc.

    Is Favuloso a Portugese word?

  • Outstanding

  • nice

  • I'd really like to hear the edit version of this song that was on the album "...I care because you do."

  • whats he been knocking out recently?

    anyone know..?

  • Pretty much impossible to know. He had so much unreleased, he could put loads of albums without making anything new.

  • This Glass orchestration of Icct Hedral is absolutely stunning, a great compliment to Aphex's original on the I Care... album. It's great to listen to both versions because they both bring out different qualities of the tune.

  • is the original version also on youtube? I can't find it really

  • I'm very proud of the fact that I knew of Aphex Twin 10 years ago. I feel it shows I have good music taste. Richard D James is just a musical genius. Check out Select Ambient Works two, its a trip. I could put one of his songs on for friends who haven't heard him, and just wow the bejesus out of 'em. And his piano stuff is wicked sick. I still don't really get Druqs , but whatever its all good.

  • So, what would you say are the most beautiful albums of the history of Richard D James?

I heard songs like Xtal, On and Nannou. Stuff like that. I searched a little through a few sites but couldn't tell till now, what the most chillin albums are... I'm not so interestet in the agressive electrical stuff of him.

But songs like I named before and this...

    You can help me please?

  • I thought Druqs was really good.

I read somwhere Richard said it was his more personal album?

  • @aaronhedberg: Same here. I was listening to Aphex Twin way back in the day, it was the only music in that genre that I was actually aware of, but I knew it was amazing. I can personally claim credit for turning at least six people onto Aphex Twin over the years, and I'm surprised even now when I play Windowlicker or other 'hit' songs and a person has never heard it before.

  • @aaronhedberg 10 years for you, 18 for me! ;-)

  • @aaronhedberg

yeah, they played come to daddy and windowlicker on mtv then...

  • If he put his mind to it, RDJ could produce entire albums of classical music. His syncopation, melody, layering, everything, is perfectly attuned to orchestral playing. It is uncanny. He is, I think, unique in this amongst contemporary artists. It sounds right this way.

  • oh mein gott.....

  • @MrTaranius1 ge wek

  • this piece is fucking awesome

  • indeed mate!

    this is basically art! :D

  • Although Classical Boundaries This Isn't A Bad Moody Dark Warped Tune. A Classic On The LAURENT GARNIER - Laboratoire Mix CD. 10/10. Justin Langford.

  • super fab track!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Original is way better. I need that blaring, air-squirt noise.. Sounds like wind being pushed through an ear-hole. F*ck this noise

  • do you have a link to the original version of this track?

  • watch?v=6hU5xjp8kfY

  • I worship RDJ, but to be honest, I don't like this at all. I wouldn't be surprised if RDJ never works with Glass again

  • Mmmm riiiiight.. Seeing that Glass is one of the greatest composers of our time and this remix is KING, I HARDLY see that happening.

  • You harldy see what happening?

    That doesn't make any sense

  • Your humor doesn't either.

  • ...I wasn't trying to be funny. What the hell?

  • Alright, I just thought it was pretty obvious... "RDJ never works with Glass again " ... - I hardly see that happening.

  • lol ok, i have no idea if you are agreeing with me or not. Never mind bro :)

  • I'm disagreeing... I hardly see: RDJ never working with Glass again.

I think Glass is one of the most brilliant composers out there. I also think very highly of RDJ. I think this Glass version of the song is excellent. Do I need to elaborate any further? ;)

  • alright mate climb back down from your own asshole, he like i am not mind readers written text has no emotion so your statement could of meant a number of things.

  • No you're not a mind reader. Just plain stupid.

  • Sorry dude must of been smashed to write that! I apologize.

  • no biggie ;)

  • @oskararnarson You don't know shit you Icelandic fairylover.

Philip Glass is a minimalist composer and Icct Hedral isn't specifically minimalist. Also, when did RDJ ever work together with Glass?

  • Glass/AT is god...shame it's not on itunes though...

  • it is you just type in aphex twin-icct hedral

  • I love this piece by Philip Glass but my only complaint is his use of brass. The darkly ambient quality of the music is ruined when the 'horns' come in. He should've stuck w/ the strings, choir, synths and percussion. The brass section turns it into a cheesy monster movie. I wish he would write them out.

  • No kidding. It's like a fat man loudly stumbling into a group of chanting gregorian monks. Kinda ruins the mood. :/

  • "It's like a fat man loudly stumbling into a group of chanting gregorian monks."

    I know, perfect metaphor!

  • @sicklesickle doesnt ruin anything..

    theres perfect balance

Ive never listened to music trippin'

but if ever do itll be ol' afx

this shit is incredible.. its kind of weird to me, what the hell influenced these masterpieces? i want it

  • that was my favorite part.

  • that was my favourite part too

  • Yeah, especially it's not Phillip Glass piece... It's Aphex Twin also known as Richard James. Glass made ONLY orchestration in here. But still, it's great piece thou

  • Love this song.

Back in the day, when I was complete IDM/Ambient Freak, an AFX Psycho Fan that was one of my favorites. It's funny how this song sounds. It's kind of a remix afterall. But it sounds like original. And AFX's original sounds like a remix of this... Strange, but funny xD

Love, Big Love fo this track
