His dance, his way to move on a stage, are profoundly inspired. It is fascinating to look and look again how his living being capture the music, how his body change emotions in comprehensable moments, feelings in suggestive power. And, always, novelty and beauty are to be found in everything he does.
Of course he does to love dance; but, above all, he does to undertsand dance.
I just recently started watching these videos but I'd have to say that you are probably one of the most amazing dancers I've seen in...forever really. I aspire to be a dancer but I don't really think I have it in me. After watching how amazingly fluid you are I just get the feeling that I can do it. I think you might have just given me enough hope.

I love that Billy isn't a show-off choreographer. He isn't worried about how many pirouettes there can be and how fancy and complicated it could be. It's as if he's dancing what's in his heart. I tear up every time I see his dances in his videos because it's truly magnificent that he is able to say whatever he feels needs to be said, whatever he wants to get out, into that dance.
It's not just about the motions, it's also the emotion behind it & I hope he never loses that. That's a rare gift
I thought you were the greatest dancers starting. Maci Cameron was there with you and said she just loved you. Do you remember her? She dances at Applause here in Okc and is also one of our pom coaches. I was just wandering what happened to you to make you not be on the show anymore. Did I understand you got sick? Please somebody fill me in. What exactly happened. He was there one day and gone the next. Please come back.
I just wish if anyone knows if he will or even come back for season 7? i have heard that he is a principle? in a dance company, so i guess that means he cannot compete in season 7? There's this quality to his movement that is just rather mind blowing. He has a strength and passion that just cause goosebumps to rise up on your arms and neck. It's like this is the last time he's ever going to get to dance and he's put his whole heart and soul into those movements, no matter how simple or complex they are. People might not get it, or even like dancing, but when you see passion and love like that, there is no living, breathing human that cannot be moved.

wow- I don't think I've ever witnessed a more fluid and amazingly centered dancer as this kid. Saw him on SYTYCD and I had to search for him here to see anything else he's done, Glad I did- he should go far-not just in the show but in his career!
billy bell is a beautiful dancer! i saw him perform this piece in person at west coast detroit and he had everyone in tears! even my dance teachers! we were all touched by his dancing, and the story he told. definately one of my all-time favorite dancers!
I've seen both of them dance in person, and I'm going to have to say that I like Jakob's dancing better, and I like his quality of movement better. I also think he's more versitile seeing as everything he assisted with at NYCDA he did amazingly. I also have to say I think its to soon to judge them on creativity because BIlly Bell's solo was self coreographed and Jakob's wasn't. So I'd need to see some of his coreography before saying Billy's more creative.

People might remember Billy more because he's different... idk what they chose or maybe they chose both billy and jakob, but they might be too similar for them both to be in the same season? we'll find out iguess.

Make sure you have a proper split.

He's actually teaching and choreographing at my school, A. W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where he graduated in '08.
