Apparently, upper-case letters go a long way in helping lesser-folk understand that THEIR point is a serious comment. This rod is a ba-hair short of £600....promotion, anyone?? (ppps, DirTdude, your post-ellipses-mid-sentence rant enamoured me ready my gear!)
WHAT FUCKING IDIOTS RESPOND WITH THEIR NITWIT COMMENTS LIKE THE GUY BELOW SAID CORRECTLY GO BACK TO YOUR FUCKING COFFEE GRINDER SPINNING REELS YOU MENTAL DWARFS SPEY CASTING IS A MILLION TIMES HARDER AND YOU RECTUM LICKERS COULD NEVER DO IT
I AM AMAZED AT THE NITWIT COMMENTS HERE EOIN IS ONE OF THE GREAT CASTERS IN THE WORLD AND MOST OF YOU COULD NOT CARRY HIS JOCK STRAP AND FOR SURE HE CAN OUT FISH ALL OF YOU IN HIS SLEEP GO BACK TO YOU FUCKING SPINNING REEL YOU IDIOTS
He throws every possible ounce of punch into his cast. Notice that after he stops the rod in his forward stroke, he pulls away from the final stop point to his left. He is still able to throw a degree of forward momentum into it with this move. He also avoids throwing tailing loops by this drifting action. Good caster.
My gosh yes they'd laugh you off the river if you did these successions of casting tricks. Both left and right bank casting abilities are the essential skills to a successful fisherman. Keep it simple and work with a reasonable length of line so you can control it to its maximum.
@hansebeddari im not sure about this speycasting but i know that they are reaching out there 100 feet.... even with a perfect dubble haul i can only shoot it out there 60 feet with my flycasting gear... dry fly AND wet fly purists both anoy me... i bring a reel with floating line and a reel with sinking line... once you get a 15 lb rainbow to sky rocket out of the water going after your cadis fly your whole world will change
@hansebeddari I agree that this kind of speycasting is totally pointless, mind you he must have 30m out here. Obviously, the idea is to show what the new rods from manufacturers are capable of.
Also, 95% of the time I use a floating line when salmon fishing, with the addition of an intermediate or slow sink 5ft/10ft polyleader. Do you happen to do much atlantic salmon fishing yourself?
Great casting but join a rodeo for tricks versus practical casting with that floppy action rod. Not a great rod for the wind. To strike a substantial fish from that far distance with such a slow action rod would more often fail if the caster is not an expert besides.
eye very good laddy- but if yerr flees nat in the watter yerl nee catch a fesh!!!
