I have a 1966 Kellison flat bottom v drive running a mild 327. I just built a centrifugal blown 350 with no expense spared, dyno'd @ 700 at 16lbs without nitrous. Can you or someone you know advise me on prop and drive ratios? I warming up to the idea of a 2 spd powerglide with a transbrake and manual body. I am currently running a casale box. I want a jumping jack 100mph thrill ride

They are both Biesemeyer hulls. The red one is the earlier "long deck" version.

The only problem is you can't have a huge boat that accelerates or turns like these flatbottoms and there's no boat that does it all...

very true you will never see a 38' off shore boat get on plane in half a second and I'm sure these are much more cost effective than an ocean rig, like i said im not hatin in any way but i have been on the river or lake plenty of times when all you would have with one of these rigs is a very sore ass and back and a top speed of about 30mph. No boat does it all though no arguments there.

No, the guy in the white boat wasn't as smooth, but he still hung in there. You can tell by the way he does use the plates, when he turns, that he knows what he is doing...crazy though!
