  • great review.i hear what you say about the warped leg[s].i have 2 on toc cards and both have a warped left leg....as far as the vintage card back is concerned this is now available on "star wars" , "empire strikes back" , "return of the jedi" and even "REVENGE of the jedi" card back variants but im sure you already know

  • @damo9811 So I'm not the only one with the warped leg problum huh ? Yeah, I would take less articulation for a morer sturdy figure. I know they need the extra articulation at the hips for the Sandtrooper to ride the Dewback but not for the stormtrooper.

I knew about the Revenge of the Jedi cardback but did not know the Stormtrooper was included, nor did I know about the Star Wars and Return of the ejdi Cardbacks for the stormtrooper.I have been busy though, thanks for the tip.

  • @supremeobliterator warped legs abound with the stormies,no wonder they cant hit a barn door with the death star super laser,ha ha.did you get the message i sent you about the "prototype boba fett armour " figure

  • great review mate ... are the eyes a little small on these ones? I was looking at them in my local toys r us and noticed the eyes looked .. odd? also the clone trooper in the same vintage line all seemed to have yellow'ed heads? whats all that about and is it common on all clone troopers or perhaps was this just a bad batch ? I wish they had done the sand trooper with sand dirt effect paint instead of clean. :(

  • @majorj0nny Yeah I just got another one of these Stormtroopers last time I was at Wal Mart. They are not my favorite but they are alright. I have heard of hasbro putting out bad batches. I read something about a Vintage Collection Clone Trooper that was bad.

I like the new Sandtrooper but I think the collection world is about Sandtroopered out. Look at all the varients releaaed in TAC and Legacy. I will be suprised if they do another Sandtrooper any time soon.

  • @supremeobliterator lol yeah I know what you mean - when I get the 'star wars box' out of my sons room we try and match all the figures back up with their correct parts - helmets are a nightmare as we must have 20 different types of stormtroopers all with various styles of helmets, matching the correct helmet to the correct head.. same with darth vaders really !

  • ahaha Clerks xD

  • good review...i agree no point in a removeable helmet for this particular version. maybe the original clones for diorama purposes though?

  • Great Clerks reference!

  • @justinmc16 Hah, somewon who got it. Thumbs up !

  • thanks for uploading:)

  • I love this figure. Can't wait to get more. Thanks for the review dude!

  • Yeah-The bucket helmet did not agree with me either.I was really looking forward to this figure too.I could do without the removeable helmets on just about all of them.

  • Nice, a good figure but agree with all your points, would rather the helmet be non removable.

  • if you spin his upper thigh you can get different ranges of motion out of it, it looks like you have one twisted in more then the other and thats why it wont close like it should, try spinning it outward some.
