She did pretty well, but she's obviously too young to play Chaconne. This is Bach's most difficult piece to understand. 'the man writes a whole world of the deepest thoughts and most powerful feelings'. How can a ten-year-old girl understand the whole world??? I would say you can never play with deep feeling unless you are over 40.
I love this precious little lady. She's amazing, adorable, incredibly talented, and like magic on the piano. Doe's anyone know her full name or where she's from? I hope she records, as I would buy anything she puts on CD. Also hope she continues her musical career. To play this well at any age is amazing, but to be this good at 10 is almost unbelievable. What a brilliant, gifted little doll.......My prayer is for her blessing, happiness and success in her music and life.
Ok, well, it's a start. But, with all the omissions in it, the piece has almost been cut in half, timewise speaking. Some nice parts in it too, though.

evil asian parents, stop taking your children youth and fun away by making they learn stuff since they are 3 years old, so you can brag yourself about it...sorry im against children slavery. thats like a hmmm competition against asian parents ? because all the "8~9~10 year old" playing stuff incredibly hard like that are asians.
Bravo Szuyu Su, a beautiful interpretation; if violinists listened to piano you would have a triple view count here, a famous Bach. Oddly, listening to you I start hearing, simultaneously in my head, a left hand of Brahm's G Minor Rhapsody, Op. 79, no. 2. Mystery!
Dude, "maybe she will record later"? If you've watched the other dozen or so videos you've posted of your girl, you'll realize that she's a genius and quite talented for her age. So she makes a few mistakes on one piece - which I can't hear anyway. Big deal. She's about nine or ten, right? Geeze, when I was nine I played "March of the Troll Dolls" for my talent recidal. lol.
Unless the "maybe record later" was meant for us. Then I totally take my entire post back and apologize if offense taken.
I am used to listening to the violin play this (or the guitar). It was certainly a different experience hearing it played on the piano. It sounded great....like it was meant for the piano. Yes, A few errors...never mind.
Amazing talent. Someday she will own the piece, the piano and the world. Don't ever give up, Rachel.

I thought this piece had been translated by Ferruccio BUSONI. Did Hideo Kobayashi translate it as well ?

This composition has been transcribed by many. There are more 30 piano transcriptions for Chaconne. Also it has been orchestrated by many!

She's too young to play this piece. Children shouldn't play Bach, too deep for them. Just wait.

I know Aimi very well and I never heard she wrote that transcription.Maybe it's another Mr.
Kobayashi ( very common name in Japan ) Now, of course, I can be wrong

The mystery has now been solved! Rachel has now noted in the description that the Bach transcriber is Hideo Kobayashi!
