They identify targets using several sources including people on the ground
Apaches don't just open fire on everyone they see carrying a gun.
Videos like this just show a small part of what happened, a lot of them are just snippets
of videos that sometimes last several hours as they track and get a positive ID on the targets.
Even then they have to get permission to fire on targets after positive ID has been made.
