  • i loved gordon what did you do to make him look more R.W.S. acurate.

  • @NorthWesternRailway4 Its a Superdetailed Great Northern Bash, so its just little more than a repaint! :P Glad you like it though :)

  • i really appreciate your talent.this series is great!keep it up! and you have got a fan from india.me!

    thanks

    rithik

  • I'll say this... This is MILES ahead of the videos you were producing before. The shot is clear, gets in all the right action and is directed wonderfully. Only criticism? I haven't read the railway series myself... but it felt like several stories had been put together to make up one big video. Great in theory, but remember that each 'saga' was made up of small bite-size stories, so putting them all together may make the film feel a bit long. For this though... I really think you pulled it off!

  • This is awesome!

  • I don't know what to say. I am very impressed with this. You created a masterpiece :D.

  • I see Sir Haydn's nameplate on Sir Handel~

  • @SegaMario Yea, after all of the story writing and preparation in sets ect, I got struck with a heavy dose of CBA. It will be worse when I've added the Edward Thomas nameplates to No 4, but I should have his episode out before then. ;)

  • AMAZING job! Love the models! Keep up the good work with your videos! :)

  • this is awesome keep up the good work

  • This so EPIC!!!! The models are the BEST. The sets are AWESOME. And all the rolling stock. THeface masks are also Epic!

  • Simply wonderful! I'm at a loss for words! I especially love Gordon's model!

  • How come Sir Handel is not painted blue, but Peter Sam is painted in his green livery?

  • Very nice! I like the cues that you've taken from the original stories' illustrations!

  • wow were did you buy them

  • Watched it. Loved it.

You've just got yourself another subscriber!

  • Where did you get the engines?

  • @thomastug All are modified kits. Paints are by Halfords. see ajhdbsteam for more information.

  • Dude, that was totally awesome! Great job!

  • that was toatly wiked!

  • Great story, and I like how the engines have they're counterpart's colors. Nice realistic touches. :-)

  • Great Job whens the next episode coming out?

  • That was the best 10:49 minutes of my life

  • When I started watching this I thought hmm you sound like Caledonian812 but at the end I realized; oh of course he narrated it :) Beautiful models; I would even go as far to say they have much better detail than the original tv series models. Hell the Tv series models are pretty plain compared to these and only lighting really brought 'em out. In this these models win with or without professional lighting! :)

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hyouma09 Was it really?

  • @MsWastedGirl1 Shh, hes having a happy moment X]

  • @HenryBlueProductions REALLY?! YOU SICK LITTLE MONEKY!!

  • @MsWastedGirl1 Yes, It's better than what Hit Entertainment did to the Thomas and Friends franchise lately.

  • @hyouma09 They try too hard. Adam always wins.

  • @MsWastedGirl1 They made REAL fire fighters look like INCOMPITENT FOOLS, WHICH THEY ARE NOT, THAT IS WHAT US TOY COMPANIES THAT GET THE STUFF THAST JAPANESE TOY COMPANIES MAKE ARE AND SAME WITH AMERICAN SHOW COMPANIES LIKE YTV AND SABAN.

  • @hyouma09 Calm doon' =P

  • @ajhdbsteam NEVER!!! >:).

  • Did you get the station sound for trainz because thats what the stations sound like aswell also this is an excellent first episode and another thing sir Haydn wasnt sir Handel why was that

  • brilliant that's the only word i can find to describe this the voices just seem right the smoke effects are incredibly well done and all in all it just seems for lack of a better word right the atmosphere is spot on although one small nitpick is that some of the goods trains seem over length for such a line if that makes sense?

  • @evafan002 Cheers, although I can assure you every aspect about this video is accurate to positioning and angle of the shed. The trains are no-where near over lengthed, nor will they ever be.

  • @ajhdbsteam sorry i should have made myself clearer i meant that to my eyes the goods trains consist of a few too many wagons as i have always imagined such trains as being made up of a maximum of 4 or 5

wagons and maybe a coach. thats all

  • this is excellent, well done!

  • Brillant work!

So much detail and effort has been poured into this one episode. It was definitely worth the wait. :)

  • Had I not been a member of the forums, I never would've known about this. Will you ever be changing Peter Sam's coat of paint to match his RWS paint.

  • @TheHistorySoldier He's basing his engines off the Talylynn railway/and history, so that's why Peter Sam isn't in his RWS red colour.

  • @TheBlueE2 CORRECT.

  • what chassis did you use?

  • an outstanding job

  • wow, great job! the models are very nice too, it looks like a few of the models were repainted, were they?

  • This is great! I love how realistic you made Gordon, he looks more like an A0 or A3, which ever you prefer and the OO9 models look fantastic too. And Matt Cooper's narration is spot on.

  • stunning ep great job! =)

  • I was going to use some of the same tracks so I will try to use some others instead. Everything about this really gripped me, can't praise you enough. Proves you don't need moving faces to make a good movie, authough I'm going that route. Great work, I can't think of anything to improve upon really, maybie a few SFX were a tad loud, but that's literally it for me. Keep on the way you are, once again, what a come back! ;)

  • I'm so impressed with this I'm unsure what to say, surpassed my expectations. What a come back, Adam, seriously. Your choice of narrator in my opinion was brilliant and he did a grand job and helped to make it sound polished. The 1st scene with the stills was great and I loved the shots you used. The shed scenes with that gloomy light worked brilliantly and the way you made engines derail was totally convincing. Kevin's music worked perfectly too, authough I have to admit....

  • great work, it was worth the wait! i must ask you were you got the chassis for your engines? was thinking about making some 009 Skarloey models and can't seem to find the right chassis for them.

  • That was brilliant! I really don't know anybody who has ever made a 009 episode.

  • I must say you've done a superb job on this! The smoke was lovely, the models you build look fantastic and it's all shot and edited beautifully. I look forward for the next one, which I assume involves a refreshment lady ...

  • @tardisrescue Bingo ;) Cheers mate, it means alot!

  • I am speechless. I can't even start picking my favorite bit of the episode. the models were surbrubly made (Gondon's in particular). 20/10, absolutly brilliant!

  • Looks really good! Loved watching it, and taking in all the detail and effort put into it, well done :)

  • I have said it before and I shall say it again. Whenever I see I video from you I know I will enjoy it. This was fantastic I like how you mixed the two stories and also threw in your own twist as well! The sets where fantastic as well. Also Matt's narration was superb! Great job Adam!

  • An outstanding film so well made.

  • Cool, how come Peter Sam is missing his cab roof?

  • @godred01 Because I suck and I still havent plopped it on, I found it easier to change the position of the driver in sacrfice of keeping the shots low if Im honest :P Since the next episode is about him, Im going to have to put it on for then so!

  • brillant film. I like the peter sam model. my model of edward thomas is going to be at the 009 society stand.

  • I really gotta admit you got everything working in this series so far! Well done!

At least you got P.S.'s color right!

Plus, you made S.H.'s happy face look SO CUTE!!! Reminds me of my pug!

Unless I'm mistaken, would that black shape in 8:29-8:33 be... Diesel?

  • @DarthWill3 Cheers :) yea, its Diesel, its a bachmann 08 respray with the Hornby face added to it, although for the date this story is set in, Diesel shouldnt be there for another 5-6 years! All Of the engines colours will be right, as Talyllyn models ;]

  • @HenryBlueProductions Yeah, I can see your point there.

By the way, when do we get to see Skarloey, Rhenaes, Rusty, Duncan, and Duke?

  • @DarthWill3 When the story unfolds, the series spans over a period of time. Rusty and Duncan wont be in it for a while as they arrived in 1958, episode 1 is 1951. Duke wont appear at all as Im stopping In 1965, from then Ill be going back into time before preservation and the series will be purely about Skarloey and Rheneas, then I'm done! :P

  • @ajhdbsteam Oh, I see! Very nice!

  • Wow that was good. I like how you based it on the actual story, but with your own elements in it.

brill models too, never seen that custom Gordon in your vids before. There wasnt much music in this though, but it still went nicely.

One question, why is Peter Sam green? Shouldn't he be red like Sir Handel?

  • @TheBlueE2 I actually based it on what actually happened on the Talyllyn Railway, using quotes from the Railway Series. Gordon has been in quite a few videos of mine since 2008 on my old channel but has never been giving a speaking role. There is quite a bit of music in there too but I thought it would be better not to make it overpowering. And lastly Peter Sam is green because I model the Talyllyn Railway Primarily. Thank you for watching, I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. :)

  • @HenryBlueProductions Ah so this is based off the RWS and the Talyllyn's history, nice :) now wheres that subscribe button gotten to.....

  • With thanks to MsWastedGirl1 and her excellent grammar skills. >.<

Nah nah, you done good boyoh. Coming from a female, you done good.

  • @MsWastedGirl1 Oh shush and go back to ya kitchen :P I credited you in the description, I didnt think you wanted to have a bump of train people posting on your youtube wall :]

  • @MsWastedGirl1 But nevertheless, you done good agent236

  • That is possibly the BEST series I've ever seen!!!! :0

  • Remarkable start of the series with a very well written episode, based on one or two stories from Four Little Engines book by Wilbert. :)

Plus a really hilarious ending, poor mr. percival! :P

    5/5

    Dan5589

  • @BusterTheSteamroller Actually it was Mr Peter Sam ;) the story isnt TV series based at all so.. And also the second part of the episode is a re-write from Tom Rolt's 'Railway Adventure.' Im glad you like it! Its good to hear from you.

  • This is brill. Models, sets.. just brill. :D

  • I enjoyed watching the story come to life before my eyes. I certainly wasn't expecting the bit at the end with the Thin Controller. I'm glad to have been a part of this.

  • @Caledonian812 Good job on the narration man :)

  • Delicious OO9 and glorious special effects

  • It's great to finally see this episode come to fruition. Well done Henryblue. I enjoyed this enormously! The narrating was good too.

  • Yes. This has been well worth the wait. One of the most original fan series in a long time :D
