Sometimes, the greatest jazz singers in the world are "messed up", like Billie Holiday, Anita O'Day, Dinah Washington and so on. It's up to them to straighten themselves out- IF they can. O'Day could, Billie couldn't, Dinah wouldn't. Amy...I'm not sure.
