Bhik Faqeeri Seekni tu chal panhari seekh is used in lot of qalams but with diffrent words.

The Faqir or beggar is not meant in any derogatory manner as i am sure you know. The real Faqir such as "Hazrat Meeran Bheek Chishti" is considered beyond others in the level of understanding achieved.

I think all qawwals are great its the its the khalaam what we listen to

maulvi akhtar behere wale is next best qawwal after nusrat saab,yeh unke piromurshid ka khas karam hai.

I think he is better than Nusrat Fateh ALi Khan. Fateh Ali Khan was the better musician, but Akhtar Hassan is a better qawwal.

Molvi akhtar hassan party is really nice and still attached with traditional qawwali, after Nusrat it seems they are the best but it is wrong to say that they are better than nusrat at the moment.

What is his relation with Ahmed Hasan. I believe this group was part of Ahmed Hasan.

I recently listned to some Quawwalies of Ahmed Hasan group and I love that group. Probably that group was as good as Nusrat.

I think Aziz Miyan then Maulvi Akhtar, and then Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Nusrat Fateh was not a qawal but a mix singer and qalwal ... so in principle he is not qawal,

It is not Kabir. The kalam is that of Hazrat Meera Bhik Chishti. His 'takhallus' Bhik is used in several couplets, e.g:

Bhik faqiri kathan hai....

Bhik faqiri seekh....

Bhik faqirir apdhali

Bhika bhooka koi nahee

@gulammoin this is indeed the kalam of Hazrat Meera Bhik Chishty, but there are verses within the poetry that are either borrowed from Kavir or simply very similar to Kabir's words. incidentally this is both very common in qawwali as well as very common in the sufiana kalams of various poets/saints as their views and thoughts were so similar.

This is first time I heard the name of Meera Bhik Chishti. Can you please providea brief introduction?

A lot of verses in this Quawwali are well known Kabir DOHAY. Some are even sung by Abida Pervin and Farid Ayaz and Sikh religious singers.
