  • I love the arcade version this one sucked rampage world tour was awsome and it has a better version than this

  • 128 levels + NES = Fuckton of hours and skills to use. (a1)

    a1 + defeat = Congratulations.

    TEH RAMPAGE EQUATION

  • I played the game back in the day, it was enjoyable then. Try playing it now....dull,dull,dull. very repetitive, not very rewarding.

  • i think the person who posted this vid is crappier.

  • Takashi Miura? I wonder if it's the same guy who would work on Time Crisis 3 and 4's music

  • We actually liked this game a bit when we were little. Only a bit though... It used to be a small bit of fun to destroy everything. Some weird N64 by Rare is actually kind of popular, but I think that game was pretty bad too looking back on it now...Oh yeah, it's called Blast Corps. I didn't like that game...

  • i remeber my cuz coming to my house to play my nes (he never had one.) he loved rampage because of the 2 player and balloon fight was his favourite game. so we played those games for hours and hours.

  • congratulations you destroyed USA

now the world its safe... im serious

  • wow its like, every time i beat a crappy game with a crappy ending. i look at the credits and go "well, thats a lot of drug abusers"

  • A real game is based only on gameplay. awesome direct 11 graphics with full 1680x1050 resolution does not mean shit if it has a poor gameplay. want a example? Call of Duty black ops.

  • i love this game just not nes version

  • this game didn't translate well from the arcades. The arcade game had good graphics, 3 player co-op, cool sound effects, and was a blast to play with friends. This is nothing like that.

  • you cant expect something this old to be that good but its still fun for the first couple levels until you realize all the levels are the same

  • @littletimmy124 who gives a shit how old it is?

  • ending sucks ass. i remember it took like 4-5 hours to beat this crap too

  • sure the appeal wears off, but i remember playing this with my dad and sister as a kid.. so much fun... i was george, she was lizzie he was ralph...

  • I remember playing this crap for 8 hours! and our prize was that Crappy ending! lol

  • I like this game. Not great but not horrible. Played it a lot as a kid. Destroying buildings is fun.

  • Well the reason you think it is boring is because were used to high bit, 3D games. Not these low bit, boring games. (No offense to those games they weren't that bad)

  • @ashpikachu360 Actually, Rampage was pretty good in the arcade, and even on the Sega Master System, but the NES version got shafted by lazy-ass hack-job programmers that half-assed the translation. It really was boring as hell.

  • Rampage, my favorite NES stress reliever.

  • I remember beating the entire US and this game never ending. I doubt I went through 128 levels but you do go thru the US and I thought the game never ended....thank you for finally puting my 19 year old(I got this game in 1990-91) doubts to rest

  • This game was fun back then. I play it now and dont even beat the first stage.

  • This game was one of the best 2 player games on the NES.

  • Crappy game? Are you kidding me, you got to blow shit up, knock down buildings, EAT PEOPLE, even punch each other if your bitch ass friend got in the way. This game was awesome.

  • @carbomb19 Rampage for the NES sucked balls. It was pretty good in the arcade, and even on the Sega Master System, but the NES version got shafted by lazy-ass hack-job programmers that half-assed the translation. You should try the original, either in a retro arcade or on MAME and see what we mean when we say it was crappy.

  • This is the most tedious game ever for no reason and you can never die apparently. I have lost my health bar about 30 times and i'm on level 68 right now on VirtualNES...this game truly sucks but now i'm determined to beat it just b/c...

  • I'm just sorry that I wasted so much of my childhood playing this abortion of a game.....it was the most pointless piece of crap ever put on gray plastic.

  • Lmfao at the shape of Michigan.

    What the hell is that?

  • i love that game and im14

  • We still have this game for the NES and my sis and I uesed to play this for a looooooonnnnnnnng time, we almost finished the game once.

  • Fuck anybody who were'nt old enough to play this game when this came out. It's easy to say its bad if your faget ass played Halo first or cod and then this. I love the new gen systems but dont go and say this game is crap beccause you dont know what a real game is..

  • Amen my friend. It is easy now because we are in a different generation or in hindsight. Try being a 7 year old playing this game his parent rented from Blockbuster. It was different in the late 80's early 90's. Godbless you man, You really remember what it was like. We can never go back *sigh*

  • @RedAvery1 Not everyone was born when this came out you idiot!

  • @RedAvery1 Many of us DID play this game when it came out. Rampage for the NES sucked balls. It was pretty good in the arcade, and even on the Sega Master System, but the NES version got shafted by lazy-ass hack-job programmers that half-assed the translation.

  • @RedAvery1 Very True on that one ReadAvery....On The Cool!!

  • This game was actually really fun.

    :|

  • "crappy game?!?"

I LOVED this game years back.

    Played it for hours

  • I'm assuming the reviewer isn't old enough to appreciate the simple elegance of this game. I remember sitting down with a friend of mine when we were both in elementary school, and playing this for hours.

  • So a godzilla wanna-be punched California? What a great ending!

  • you suck cow pop

  • Rampage was a pretty good game, to be honest.

  • I enjoyed Rampage too. :S

Seriously to the fag to that down-rated roboraptor's comment: gtfo.

  • i like the n64 and gcn/wii ones

  • congratulations comes off more like "you are fag"

  • This was an okay game.

  • Ow. That ending just feels like the game socks you in the face, than kicks you in the nads while you accidentally fell over tacks which just so happened to land inside your ass.

  • whut

  • wow thats it? congragulations? wow

  • I had the PSX one

  • I always enjoyed this game, but whart's up with that ending???

  • how many levels are there

  • What is with that death? He turn from a giant gorilla, into a small gorilla, to a... guy wearing no pants?

  • wow

i played on gameboy for....hm the longest was an hour & a half..

    didnt miss much ovbiously

  • Rampage 64 was AWESOME.

  • If you play the arcade version, it's not much better...

  • must disagree... loved the game years ago

  • i played through this game , the game is ok but boring as hell...

It didnt take even near 5 hours of play :D

  • lol

  • I would have shot myslef if i went through all of that and got that sucky ending!

  • Aww, my first video game ending disappointment. I remember this ending well......and I wish I didn't!!!!!!!!

  • 2:36

Wow! The game sound was arranged by Shogo Sakai? I would have never guessed...

  • I remember this one. Me and my brother used to play it all the time. We never got to the end though. Looks like we didn't miss much

  • Congratulations!

  • this game had an ending?

  • I think it's supposed to be an arcade game. It'd be a bit like saying Pac-Man or Bomberman is crap...

  • I remember playing this all the time as a kid...but I always quit half way through due to shear boredom. lol

  • The final stage looks too easy.....

  • Man I loved this game back in the day. You could eat the people.

  • the people who put their credits at the end must of been really embrassed

  • you should play rampage total destrucion total improvement

  • Rampage for N64 was cool

  • This game was great. It's a classic. Whoever said it sux is either an infant or flat out brain dead.

  • It's a nice game, but it is terribly boring. All versions of this game follow the same fate. And it's ending is so unrewarding.

  • The arcade version was unforgettable.

    NES version? Not so much.

  • To me the NES version was a classic. Those days were care-free.

  • I remember playing an internet flash game of this. It was kinda fun, there was a lot more going on and it had all the three characters in. It was far superior to this game.

  • the Arcade version was cool, but the NES version was pretty bad.

  • Full destructible environment, more than 130 levels of exciting gameplay, what else do you want? This game is almost perfect.

  • This game is kinda fun

  • 01:38 minutes of damn credits

  • music sucks

  • Old games don't automatically suck..

  • However, this version of Rampage doesn't even have the best character in it which is Ralph the wolf. Sucks, doesn't it?

  • Play the Sega Master System version -- the difference is like night and day. Activision did a great job on the port, and yes, they kept Ralph in.

  • @Shaflugi Amen. Yar's Revenge is still my anti-drug.

  • @Shaflugi i AM 35 AND played this game when it came out and still have the NES cart and this games sucked there was no point...if you died you just continued...It probably takes about 3-4 hours to beat

  • i only remember this on gameboy

  • The newest Rampage is the best, cause it's newer XD but it has two Rampages in it and they are both better than this... Rampage World Tour and another Rampage

  • I didn't know this game was on the NES...

  • dude this game rocks wen u got a few freinds to play with but when that doesnt happen it does suk

  • XD hhahahahahahhahahahahhahahah

  • It hasn't stood the test of time, but when I was a kid, this game amused me tremendously. I think its a great game for the younger age group, but probably not one for anyone over 10. The ending in particular is just plain awful.

  • this one may have been boring but the sequels were kickass

  • Not too often r the sequels better than the original it seems

  • Just from watching that game I can tell it's utterly boring and frustrating.

  • Conglaturation!!! You have just finished a great game. You prooved the justice of our culture. Go rest our heroes! LOL

  • I wish I got that ending, that would of been better than this ending. ^^

  • LAWL!

  • "Conratulations

You had the patience to sit through this awful game.

    You proved your nerdiness.

    Now go fuck yourself."

  • Hahah, yeah, I actually did beat the NES version as a kid and was extremely dissapointed by this ending.

If only I knew back then what a nerd I was...

  • @romo523

Congratulations! You've had the patience to play through this awful game You've proved your nerdiness

    Now go FUCK YOURSELF!

  • gostbusters!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rampage is a great game, until you get to like level 30, then it gets borrrrrinnng

  • lol it sucked back then and it sucks right now

  • i used to love rampage world tour on ps1 good video i really hated this version

  • Wow, 128 levels?

I couldn't do it. You are a brave soul.

  • At least they spelt Congratulations correctly.

  • This looks like something you'll find in Action 52. I would not be surprised if it was.

BTW, that ending is nearly as bad as "Congratulations! The end.", but far away from the Superman 64 (#2) and ghostbusters for the nes (#1).

  • lol that game should be smashed to pieces burned to ashes put all the ashes burn thew ashes shit on the remains and then blast wit a nuke lol...

  • Wow, what an idiot; this game is the definition of a classic. Given, the arcade version was def better than the NES, and World Tour and Universal tour were both also better, the original's still great...

  • how can you not like this game theres ton more bad ones out there

  • Wow...Now, there's a final level for ya!

  • lol i just got back from my dads house playing this game on the rampage total destruction and i now that i see this im laughing that i left it.

  • The game's fun for 5 or 6 levels then it just gets boring and repetitive.

  • at least they spelled congratulations right

  • now that´s a big plus because theres a whole lot of games that doesn´t know how to spell it :D:D

  • what kind of name is bally? lol I always liked rampage for n64 :P that game was fun

  • I prefer the version on the Atari but that's just me. Nice vid, though!

  • i personally loved the 2 rampages for N64 and the one for PS2 wasnt that bad either

  • even as a kid I hated this game...not worth anyone's time, I'm very impressed that you played through all of it

  • This game is much more fun with 2 players. I actually enjoyed this game.

  • I like the N64 versions of this game but NES...no

  • The other Rampage games were awesome. This game sucks.

  • After all that, that is your ending! THAT ENDING = FAIL!

  • dont get me wrong some rampage games were great but this this is just horribleI mean serouisly that looked boring

  • All that for congratulations?

  • Yup.

  • well what did you honestly expect? beer and hookers?

  • hell yeah

  • Maybe... J/K

  • awesome :)

  • hahahahaha your right this game is ver boring i played this game on rampage total destruction and really suck

  • If every level is like that, I'm sure it's a very repetitive game. @_@

  • sweet
