Carpel tunnel usually comes on the matched grip hand, not the traditional hand. The wrist rotation doesn't do anything to damage the carpel tunnel.

When blasting on the left hand, do you use more rotation in the wrist, some finger action, or a bit of both. I ask because it looks like you rotate the stick over the wrist joint which looks like you could use your index finger to bounce the stick in like a flying finger adaptation for trad.
