"I watch all your vids but just lately they are getting diluted with stuff that is just not interesting." Wtf? I dont think you can determine what other people find interesting. I for one really dig to get info like this. Never knew djm700 could do stuff like that, gotta try it for sure! Thanks for the video!
and i think the difficult by using the roll feature is, that the loop sometimes goes out of the beat .... well im using vinyl and bringing the track to 0% pitch isnt total possible :p
because of this im always messing aroud with the time control to pitch the loop ;)
Well I wanted to learn all this... and I also like your impartiality on products, at least we 'know' who you are, as opposed to the 'anonymous' reviewers on websites.
On the roll feature...if you go to my profile and favourites you can see a video of Eddie Halliwell and he makes a really good sounding scratch effect using the Roll feature, have wanted to learn hos to do it, so thank you... you can only do a certain amount of videos on 'where to bring in a tune' anyway...
I watch all your vids but just lately they are getting diluted with stuff that is just not interesting. I dont want to know what type of speakers to buy or how to use the roll function.
Please get back to doing stuff that people want to know, ie, hatmonic mixing, when to fade in/out of tracks, track placement within a gig, major and minor tracks and how they influence the crowd, the list is endless.
Please get back to what you do best and stop these product placement/sponsor vids.
I suppose when u start payin him then u can start tellin him what to do.. This may not be his finest vid, but if u dont like dont watch, this guy has given us all some great advice, dont tell him "what he needs to get back doing" like i said You can only say that if u pay the guy, u guys annoy me
man i'm almost going to unsubsribe from ellaskins..... you have TOO many videos now.. I used to like seeing your videos but now there are becoming OVERFUCKINGWHELMING TO SAY THE LEAST!
@littlescheets Any loop / roll / sample you manually do on a mixer / CDJ will get off beat sometime... You'll have to pitch bend constantly. This is because a manual loop can never be 100% accurate (can be a few milliseconds out). It will sound good but those milliseconds will add up as the llop repeats itself and eventually it will start to drift off beat.

This is because the frequencies cut out each other. You can hear it, when he plays with the freq. filter.
