I never had a migraine until during my deployment to Afghanistan. I was 29 when I was there. Too much of a coincedence that I just started having them. The VA turned me down for a disibility raiting because I did not go to sick call enough. WAAAA I sound like such a pussy!

This is like Vietnam. With Agent Orange and battle stress. Think before sending your child to war. I got a general discharge for crazy shit after the war and I was being seen by a psyschiatrist. YOU people need to understand you have no rights when joining the military, Unlce Sam or congress can do whatever the hell they want with you.

I came back from Afghanistan disabled with migraines from a head injury and fibromyalgia (probably from the anthrax series) and they gave me Gabepin for pain. Quess what the side effects is? Yup.... suicidal tendicies. I guess they're trying to get rid of us to save from paying us benefits...

Disgusting that we treat our troops this way. Over the past 2 years I've been struggling with PTSD and Fibromyalgia. My doctors put me on two medicines that are linked to suicide. Unfortunately, my body is now dependent on these medicines so I DO NOT have the CHOICE to just QUIT. I am tapering slowly with HORRIBLE WITHDRAWAL. I ended up in a mental institution for suicidal ideologies after quitting a 3rd medicine. My doctors failed me too.
