I live in Lexington, Ky myself and have had alot of fun taking my daughter down there just to relax and have fun. The Cables are only there for support because of the waves that might tip the ferry. otherwise it is run like a normal boat. I also have been trying to remember what the max height on that pillar is that the water got up to.
