FRAGE: Diese Instrumetn VS. silent-System. Was würde Ihr vorziehen. Ich besitze ein Flügel von der Fa. Steinway und wollte gerne wissen: Den Flügel umrüstet oder das Teil holen.
There a demo song on AG control, you can demo it. Although, it would sound as good as Steinway or Bosendorfer, it great to have CFIII in your home and that doesn't disturb your neighbour. I guess we live in HDB in Singapore, going noiseless is important for us.
Most video in Yourtube doesn't do the justice, so going down to Yamaha shop allow you to hear what really sounds like. During promotion would be cheaper, Yamaha Singapore are selling at $20,000. I not an agent but still a poor guy, the price are much lower than many Yamaha grands piano, the feel of the keys really impressive that I could not tell if I'm playing a digital pianos. I can start throw away my portable pianos when I can enough fund to get it.
For those have not try N2 or N3 personally, I can say, the headphone can emulate exactly sound like you are not wearing, at first, I was very shock when I bang the keys and though I didn't plug the jack properly. Sounds like magically and you won't get the same experience in software piano sample. Having experience all pianos including Steinway except Bosendorfer. This grand piano sound better than some Yamaha grand piano especially if some are made in Indonesia which is lower quality!
listen for clipped sounds, at the edge of the sound of many of the notes. that's the biggest difference betw acoustic and digital. that you can hear such a thing in a poor audio like this really say something, at least to me. i.e. it's very pronounced.
you can get a real upright that sounds so much better for the same price, even lower actually, and be much happier with the way it sounds. this sounds TOO digital.
@kriteon Personally I feel the Youtube audio doesn't do it justice. Played one of these (actually both N2 and N3) in a store a few days ago & the sound is phenomenal. Key action too. I'd always prefer to play an acoustic piano, but if you have a small home and/or the need to be able to play discreetly, you can't do much better than this for sound quality. Also have to figure in the fact that this thing requires a tiny fraction of the upkeep required by an acoustic piano.
Its $13,995 at most dealers in the US. I played it for quite awhile and then played their concert grand. It is very nice and the action is great. Is it better than a $100,000 9' grand? No. Is it the best digital with the most similar action I've ever played? Yes. Just my opinion. Also if you live in an apartment/condo/townhouse like I do, you can't be banging on a piano all day...with this, you can get great sound, action, looks and versatility and always be in tune. A great piano
Thank you for video. Unfortunately I don't understand German and was only watching and listen the instrument.
I have question. How much AvantGrand N2? I know price only for N3 (about $19.000), but didn't find yet price for AvantGrand N2.
And second question. You played both AvantGrand N3 and N2. Is there any differences in feelings between these models during playing? I mean first of all keyboard and sound.

I think, in this price range it´s better to buy the "YAMAHA GB1KS".
Fantastic instrument with a function to play with headphones.

errr is it digital piano? :p

@kriteon it's the way the microphone records sound from speakers. It sounds better in person.
