I've been trying to find this information for quite some time and I couldn't find it anywhere. Is the AR-18's receiver longer than the AR-15's receiver?

@He101A yeah i know what you mean, mind you the initial ar18 rifles werent perfect either, a milled rather then stamped lower would def have been needed.

I think i see you on the CGN forum :P I have frequently failure to eject the round with mine, round jam between ejection port and bolt, normal ?

yup that would be me :p im not creative enough to change my user name from site to site. i only ever had one round jam in it and it was a reload. Other then that it ate pmc, umc and american eagle perfectly

I am having a hard time getting the firing pin retainer out, it was hard to see how you slid it out, any tricks or reasons it would be so tight?

yeah mine didnt like the pmc either, lol thanks for the sympathy but its not all our government. Our gov will let us import a surprising number of cool things but its your gov that wont allow it to be exported.

im confused.... what is the US restricting export on and how? our asshole leaders shouldnt have any sway over your asshole leaders. they've made it impossible to buy the good guns from HK and FN and the likes here, but im curious what is and isnt available to you guys. Could i sell my Ar180B up there legally.

@monkey90wd40 Our gov says hey sure go ahead and bring in short barreled guns with flash hiders collapsible stocks and chambered 7.62 and 5.56 nato but ur gov says NO we cant let that leave here the terrorists could use it!!. Up intill recently we coulnt get ps90 and fs 2000s here cause the usa wouldnt allow them to be exported. For example we can get tavors (which you guys cant) because they come from Israel and dont have the hassel of your export laws.

Great review dudley. Any video with the AR180b at the range?I have one thats still in the box that i just decided to keep after sitting in my safe for the last 2 years( part of a collection that i had bought and came with the deal). Going to add a Midwest industry forearm and a bipod and then maybe a folding stock if i like how this gun shoots.What ammo are you shooting through it and what type of groups are you getting?

heck get that thing out of the safe and use it! i use american eagle 55gr and works well tried UMC but that stuff is no where near as hot, im switching ti hand loads of 26 gr of Win 748 and a 55 gr hornady fmj. groups arent bad i got sub 1" at aroun 30 yards plinking with my buddies.

Its just a cheap bushnell T-dot i got off the EE on CGN for 170$ but it works amazingly well, beat some of the elcans ans acogs at my last cqb shoot
