  • Thumbs up for the video. Thumbs down for the music. Yikes!

  • @RedRavick Thanks for thumbs up ;-) I started making my own music for my videos after some issues with YouTube...I'm not necessarily proud with it, but I promise improvement.

Let's call it background noise for now...

  • Obviously drivers SHOULD be looking to the right before proceeding, but most of the time they don't - I wouldn't proceed at all unless I got eye contact from the driver. More than once I've had to come to a complete stop as several drivers rolled by without so much as a glance in my direction.

  • @degnawBikeCam You are right. Some cities are much safer than others. I was riding in Ann Arbor, MI - university town, and it was awesome! Drivers treated me equal, no honking, yelling or pushing me off the road.

  • @ridefour15 I agree with you that both of us should be more careful, but it doesn't change the fact that she did many things wrong and dangerous as a driver. Not looking both ways is a big mistake, no matter what, and I hope she learned her lesson and will be a safer and better driver...

  • With the first vehicle, I wouldn't say the fault is completely the driver. You clearly saw the car coming, and should've prepared for that to happen.

As for the black Lexus, they clearly blew the sign and I would've flipped out just the same.

  • Is that a cycle path or sidewalk you are riding on?

  • @BenDembroski It's both actually. There is a "Bike Route" sign.
