The music playing in my ears so bittersweet, so happy it stains your brain. The alpacas stunningly scattered across the country sides and the women with babies of their backs. Since my first time visiting as a child who couldnt even walk, My heard aches to be there. One of the most humbling of my adventures, teaching me every breath isnt to be taken for granted. Bolivia is part of me, and my blood will always be part of bolivia.
I went to Peru a year ago and this music still sends chills down my spine and flashbacks of beautiful mountains while eating alpaca. Even right now I'm wearing my favorite necklace that I bought in Peru
Me too. The music makes me think of the days I spent there learning the culture. I went last december for my best friend's quince. Hahaha and instead of eating alpaca, i ate anticuchos :P but i feel the same about wanting to go back. I miss it so much!
Even the new president of Peru has invited the president of Bolivia to discuss a plan of re-unification. He later said that if the plan were to move forward and Bolivia and Peru become one nation again, they would then invite Ecuador as well. Maybe this is the first signs of the J'acha Uru or Great Day of the reunification of the Tahuantinsuyo once again arrising. One thing is forsure though, I think most people have had enough of all the silly nationalistic bickering, it's time to move forward.

There is a rising movement in all 3 countries which formerly comprised the great Tahuantinsuyo. Being a musician myself, I've had the opportunity to play andean music with Ecuadorians, Bolivians, and Peruvians. I can tell you for sure that a new desire is rising from the heart of the people in all 3 countries, to forget about the artificial borders, and re-unite the great Tahuantinsuyo once again. The J'acha Uru or "great day" is growing closer.

I meant to say that, modern music is totally globalized, more or less there's no more difference between music from different countries. Models are rock, pop, etc. and every people adapt music according to his tastes. THIS instead is ORIGINAL MUSIC that a certain population created for their own only.
@neonenour89 The problem is that it has to develop. While this sounds great now, it will one day sound shallow. Global models can be adapted by a culture to express it uniquely. Iceland did this with punk and goth (See Purrkur Pillnikk, KUKL) because they were prepared by the experimentation of the ancestors of the music to look within. Purity is no competition - people have to see that their traditional music is worth developing and can create music no one's heard before.

Mi padre, uruguayo y ex tupamaru, se fue a Peru, Bolivia y Ecuador cuando era 16 ( en 1963). Despues de sentir la belleza de la gente en estos países y tambíen las injusticías,comenzo con los tupamaros en Uruguay. Despues de la dictadura le mandaron a Suecía. Donde naci yo. Unos de los pocos cosas que llevo a Suecia era un disco de Alpamayo (1978). En mi infancía, "la lluvia" y otras perlas era tan natural en mi casa como dia y noche. Por siempre estimo y amo la musica andina. Gracias, Emilio.

This song is so fitting. My grandparents live on the Andes and i can imagine listening to this on my ipod while riding my grand dads horse. Search Carhua, its a small little village on the Andes in Peru. The scenery and this song go soo good together

Great music. I used to love this kind of songs since I was a little child and got lost during a holiday trip in poland were one of those bands played on a huge market place - I was so fascinated by their music that I stopped and lost my parents in the crowd for about half an hour - really got me freaked out afterwards xD Now 17 years later I'm still addicted to this music - thanks for uploading it!

Mi padre, uruguayo y ex tupamaru, se fue a Peru, Bolivia y Ecuador cuando era 16 ( en 1963). Despues de sentir la belleza de la gente en estos países y tambíen las injusticías,comenzo con los tupamaros en Uruguay. Despues de la dictadura le mandaron a Suecía. Donde naci yo. Unos de los pocos cosas que llevo a Suecia era un disco de Alpamayo (1978). En mi infancía, "la lluvia" y otras perlas era tan natural en mi casa como dia y noche. Por siempre estimo y amo la musica andina. Gracias, Emilio.

@MrPiervich Bueno, el nucleo de la cultura ecuatoriana es de los pueblos indigenas originarios de ecuador como son: Imbayas, karankis huancavilcas, cañaris, quitus, shiris, yumbos,puruwas etc.Despues con la invacion inka y española nuestra cultura se mestizo con la de inka y de los españoles, con este mestizaje desarrolamos nuestra cultura e identidad unica,la cultura e identidad ecuatoriana.

Inca Empire "Tahuantinsuyo" was formed by: Chinchaysuyo = Part of Colombia and Ecuador, Kollasuyo = Part of Bolivia, Argentina and Chile, Antisuyo and Contisuyo = both in Peru. Therefore, music from these lands (Andina) are beautiful.

@youtuverazz No hay paises en toda latinoamerica tan parecidos como nosotros, Imaginense lo grande e influyentes que seriamos unidos en un solo pais.
Explotariamos nuestras riquezas sin fronteras con un plan de desarrollo conjunto de la mano del estado nacional con participacion de capitales de empresas privadas nacionales y extranjeras. En hidrocarburos seriamos un miembro importante de la OPEP en el lado occidental ya que explotariamos conjuntamente nuestro Petroleo.
