I hate to disagree, but i sincerely cant tell the difference in my battery life of my EVO. I know im in the minority here. Sometimes I get all day, sometimes just 5 hours of battery life with or without JD.

@L6763 It depends on your setting, and I recommend you getting Ultimate version, getting full use of JD, I have samsung galaxy s2 (It's a juice drainage phone you guys already know), customized advanced setting in Ultimate JD, left 3G network on in 1h53m with screen off on full charge, still left with 100% battery life...

I love how people go way out of their way to "save battery life" and "end running tasks" by buying and downloading apps to manage them when in reality having pages of apps, music and pictures is only doing the opposite. Your phone needs to search through gigabytes worth or information in the matter of a second which is using a large amount of the cpu and ram which in turn uses more energy. Think about it.

@PoweredByHotshot you might have to buy it, but that will allow you to have by passes on programs and what it does it opens up the internet for your set interval to allow any program that uses internet to access the 3g. That is in the free version.

Liked you video. I installed both Juice Defender and Ultimate Juice Defender for the amazing overprice of $5. It worked for a couple of days. Then I rooted my phone and it messed it up. So, I uninstalled both and reinstalled. Now when I click on 'Customize' on the 'Status' tab, the Ultimate Juice features (tabs) won't show up anymore.

@axiomsolo This happened to me which is why I said to reinstall, but it appears that you just fresh installed the latest version of it. Is it on default? Try going to advance or something else.

Thanks for the info. about being able to re-download. I've only tried free apps so far. I've heard about the refund cos there's been a change recently. Apparently the 24 hour window has reduced to 15 minutes. A lot of people don't like it but the excuse is that it is supposed to encourage developers - why I don't know. 15 minutes seems too short a time to me to test out some of the more complex apps with services like satnav. There's no democracy just an imposition by Google.

When I saw 'Juice Defender' I thought it might be a game, as I don't play games I nearly didn't watch it - but glad I did. Awesome number of settings.

So it's out with 'CPU Tuner' & in with 'Juice Defender' !

Only got about 12MB of phone space left now. All that will work via the SD card is on there. Looks like more uninstalls to come..
