Very cool, but some of it seemed sped up, particularly the solo starting at 2:54. It just seemed to fast, particularly your head movements, to be natural. if it was sped up, that's fine. It was entertaining nontheless, and with very good technique. Very nice!

@Fourmalletz You serieus about this video to be speed up? This is Levent Yildirim. Together with Misirli Ahmet they are the 2 best percussionist in the world. You can't reach this status by speeding up vids:) Just look up there live performances.

If you look closely , they play with their fingers . That is how they're able to produce those quick riffs (rolls) & so many beats per measure , if the beats were to be counted in a measure . Amazing .

It begins with grabbing the darbuka and try some stuff out while watching videos at youtube. It really helps, it helped me. After you got the feeling you can take lessons and in a year you can already play the darbuka :) After that its just practice and practice to improve your game:) Chek my videos out.
