I met a clinically-diagnosed "bipolar". Prolonged research via PubMed suggests the condition is very often a cynical fraud+hoax, used to explain/excuse/justify: unpredictable vindictive selfish vicious immoral deceitful self-centered unreasonable irrational vile/evil misconduct, to procure drugs/welfare checks/attention/sympathy. Advice how to deal with these cheats: RUN! Shun them immediately. Forever. It'll save time & grief. Find someone worthy of your kindness/affection. You've been warned!
Haha, your Pubmed research led you away from the conclusion of the people who performed and are licensed to interpret the Pubmed research.
I think that's called arrogance. Unless you really are smarter than every licensed doctor or medical researcher in America.
I don't really see how you can fake being unable to sleep more than a few hours a week for months at a time. That seems like a real condition... Look at people on PCP or meth, they act very similar to drug free bipolars.
Bipolar disorder affects a huge part of our population, but are prescribed meds the real cure? Please check out Generation Meds, a documentary on mental illness. It is available online for free, just go to our page for more info.
I was diagnosed with bipolar and here was how I cured myself:
I learned about Orthomolecular Medicine. Now, I take Truehope EmPowerPlus, L-tryptophan, L-phenylalanine, frolic acid, Omega 3 fish oil, vitamin C, Ginkgo biloba, and enzymes. I also learned about Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Some of the videos I've uploaded will explain natural medicine.
Man is this video me to a tee lol. I have Bobolar 1 they say and gave meds that DON'T work so I gave up. I have a laptop and I stay up all freaking night like last night making funny videos being stupid cause I CAN'T SLEEP. Mind racing to much and I never can sit still!! I know what you guys go through, Plus I have High Anxiety!!
Normally this wouldn't indicate being bipolar, except I'm ultra rapid cycling type 1, so my episodes sometimes only last a day or two (sometimes for a month and a half). The symptoms are also FAR stronger than this, but I like the video none-the-less.
It is not funny to almost die in your bed. It's not funny to have I.V.S that's why it is a disease. Why would it be funny to have a disease with I.V.S in you.
I am very unsure of the people leavign comments saying this was how it looks liek for a bipolar person. I woudl say I found nothing unusual in that video taht would insinuate you being bipolar except you suggesting the symptoms and connecting the words to various parts of your night. You seem completely normal. Some peole like being labeled thinking it will up their self-worth and sense of belonging.
Yeah that's kind of like me when I'm hypomanic. Up all night on the computer trying to communcate with people or buy things from websites. Diagnosed in 1998. Originally diagnosed schizophrenic. Coping pretty well for the last 9 years on risperdal, lithium and depakote. Thankfully I haven't had full blown mania, but I have suffered psychotic depression. BTW: I used to be a big Joy Division fan and living in Manchester UK I was quite local to them.
Very awesome, Joy Division is quite amazing. This portrays my life quite well, though I didn't know I was bipolar until recently. I did permanent damage to my wrists from using the computer so much while manic, lol.
"It affects people of all ages" - yeah my 6 month old nephew has bipolar disorder, he hasn't been diagnosed or anything but he just *knows*, and why is staying up all night on the computer considered mania? Loads of non-bipolar people do it.
guys im a bipolar too, SEEMS ALL of ya feeling really bad now.. and more desire for suicide. hung up a little the thing happening now is the weather as FALL and WINTER are the depression season. Search that fact
I feel your pain. I have to be heavily medicated at night to sleep at all. Great video. I don't think people know enough about this disorder to truly understand it's hardships. I went through some pretty tough times, especially when I was a teenager.
good video. the worst thing is that People with bipolar disorder are about three times as likely to commit suicide as those suffering from major depression (12% to 30%). Although many people with bipolar disorder who attempt suicide never actually complete it, the annual average suicide rate in males and females with diagnosed bipolar disorder (0.4%) is 10 to more than 20 times that in the general population

I have to drink at least 8 beers to be able to sleep before 6 am. Or take two shots of night quill.
