  • HOT BANJO BREAK.....

  • When Rhonda Vincent , Alan Jackson, and myself were on the Nashville Networks "You Can Be A Star" in the late 80's, I thought even back then that even if Rhonda does'nt win on this show she was going forward come hell or high water and she did just that. Her smooth natural vocals blended with Dolly's is just perfect. Great song! Great bluegrass sound!

  • I just saw her at a music festival today and got to meet her!!!! She even signed my ticket stub!! Very nice person.

  • Just brilliant, Some good old fashion music but with a modern sound, & great vocals.

  • @dog5166... I schooled your mom!

  • it was a joke about Dolly's breasts. Most people think TB is tubercolosis but in Dollys case it is Two Beauts!

  • dolly=awesome

  • Did you know that dolly has TB? Yeah two beauties! Also she hasn't seen her feet in over 60 years!!!

  • Really??

    You know Honey Brassfield??

  • Rhonda Vincent and the Rage June 20,2009.

The WORLD FAMOUS MIDNITE JAMBOREE continues the tradition of bringing fans the country music they love FOR FREE at our TEXAS TROUBADOUR THEATRE at the Ernest Tubb Record shop in Nashville Tennessee. After the show we got to meet her, get her autograph and get our picture taken with Rhonda. She really was very nice to all of her fans!!!!

  • I wish that we could hear more of the classical bluegrass that many don't get to enjoy! Ronda and Dolly you go Girls!

  • Why doesn't everyone just relax and enjoy the music? We have all this amazing technology delivering all this amazing entertainment to us - on demand and for free - and all most people seem to do is whine about it.

I can only hope that the music will make us all just a LITTLE less uptight!! :)

  • Agreed... that is all I can say.

    or maybe. "Amen!"

  • i really don't listen to country/bluegrass (don't really like it) but i have to say since i've heard this song, which is really like the epitome of bluegrass (or so it seems), i can only listen in awe!

    great song!

  • Let's face it, anything that comes out of

Dolly or Rhonda's mouth is great, if people don't like the MTV-ish video, just close your eyes and enjoy.

  • I don't understand how it is MTV-ish!

  • I could not a gree with u more..... u shopuld write it again so all may see.

  • I could not a gree with u more..... u should write it again so all may see.

  • @rnasap I love the video, I think it's fantastic. Of course, the song sells itself, so the video is an added bonus.

  • Wow, here we go again !

Is it Rhonda or is it bluegrass?

Fact is that whenever I hear another new (new to me that is) song like this it keeps spinning in my head all day long.

Sometimes I even wake up the next day, still with the song ringing in my ear, then I know it's gonna be another beautiful day, because what else should it be when wakin' up with Rhonda...?

  • I doubt that is Rhonda playing the mandolin on the studio recording of this song, and I sure as hell know she isn't the one who hits the triplets at the end.

  • Uhh... Actually that's where I think your wrong. (about the triplet thing) I have seen her do them, not in this song though. But she is far capable of accomplishing such a task. Hope that helps.

  • Ya, i always see fiddles and mandolins and banjos and Dolly Parton on MTV, are you that stupid?

  • your an idiot

  • I'm not an idiot, but I do have an opinion that I think does explain some of what is inappropriate with the whole thing. The pickin is great, but seeing a good Bluegrass lady like her all wrapped up in the tangled phone chords. . .? That was a little strange and surely was not Bluegrass! The whole premise of the song is kind of sordid, too (at least I comment discreetly and don't call peole idiots for their own opinions).

  • bluegrass usually has something to do with sadness and despair, being cheated would suck and would be sad , and caling you an idiot is my opinion and speaking your mind is the American way or in Rhondas case the bluegrass way

  • You said it!!!!!

  • OK, HOLD IT, HOLD IT!

can't you all just get along?

  • love this song.. LOVE BLUEGRASS

  • good bluegrass is fantastic

  • to bad this isn't an example of it

  • Love Rhonda!!!

  • Love Dolly!!

  • what a beautiful blend with Dolly's voice... I love this music!

  • @nuiui: that was for drive by poster noiui who left me a mssg then blocked me. :D

  • Rhonda doesn't look old enough to have a daughter that is engaged to be married!Must be that GOOD COUNTRY living and fresh air! God bless you Rhonda you have a new fan.

  • Beautiful Music. I was not raised listening to blue grass, but through the years I have always thought it was beautiful, whether with vocals or not. I believe with the vocals this music may become more mainstream... we could use some fresh new to our ears. she is very talented and a beautiful woman

  • Wow is she hot Blonde..

Love this song, love Dolly and, love her! :)

  • When I was little I wanted to be a fireman, then a policeman . Now I just want to be one of those telephone chords.

  • I was just thinking the very exact thing...wowee

  • I can't believe she's blonde now!

  • lol she changes her hair color almost every CD. some of her album sleaves have more than one color in the pic series.

i love her =] and shes gorgeous with every hair color

  • That's what I'm talkin' about!!Old cars, bluegrass and beautiful women....it don't get no better than this!!!

  • Rhonda has amazing eyes!

  • dolly could sing with anyone and not overpower them , here are two rare talents

  • i love this.... wish dolly would do more bluegrass stuff.. i loved her "grass is blue" cd

  • can anyone tell me of any singers that sound similar to rhonda, allison krauss, and the dixie chicks? it doesnt nessicasily have to be a female. can someone help me with that? im kind of picky when it comes to bluegrass/country.

  • Try Patty Loveless.

  • Very kinky Video

  • no i think the blind fold idea is fantastic! clearly you are not a artistic person otherwise you would know what she was going for....for others out there (like that reject that said the idea was stupid) pretty much its saying how blind we become by love. soomeone could tell us they are just friends with someone and we believe them like idiots.

she is saying she isnt blind to his bullshit anymore.

    clear enough for you?

  • stupenda canzone e stupenda rhonda anke in padania ti amiamo...beautiful song and you are fantastic, in padania we love you so much

  • She has always been beautiful with an exceptional voice with the bluegrass strong. Go Rhonda you little country sweety!!

  • Beautiful is not the word for it She's got my vote for the hottest female performer!!!!!!!

  • Sweet Mountain Music

  • i got her atograf

  • The song is amazing.

    The blindfold idea is dumb.

  • The blindfold symbolizes her blindness to what was going on in her relationship. Just like the telephone cords she is bound up in symbolize her being bound to the phone waiting for his call. It's actually very artistic.

  • i luv this song!^_^ & is it me or is she beautiful! i mean shes is just very beautiful!^_^ps: im a dude.

  • Take off your blindfold!! That's a mandolin she's playing not a banjo. The blindfold is a symbol of her being blind to what a creep she was with.

  • And 'fluffy ice' is so clever too; the instrument is a 'Mandolin' not a 'Banjo'! As for the 'blindfold', check your spelling; don't just hear music -- 'listen to it'. As Rhonda states in her song "My eyes have been opened now she's the one who's blind." End of lesson!

  • well i can tell you that your not very clever

  • dumbie

    it's a mandolin dumbiedumb

  • I love rhonda vincent,

    and dolly parton!!

  • ya she's really good, I mean she's not on my ipod or anything but I can see why people like her

  • what a talent!she's genuine

  • I LOVE RHONDA VINCENT!

    and cherryholmes

    and allison krausse!

    all amazing!

but i do love todays country music

  • Bluegrass is the only country style that has stayed true to tradition and not accepting its surroundings. THAT IS TO BE DEEPLY RESPECTED. Its sad to see folks like John Rich Trace Atkins Kenny CHesney Rascall FLatts ruining our beloved style. Alan Jackson is the only country sinmger now. I LOVE BLUEGRASS!!!!!!!! NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE WORLD CHANGES BLUEGRASS WILL NEVER CHANGE! GOD BLESS THAT HIGH LONESOME SOUND!

  • I had a pic of me and her. She was at DollyWood last year

  • Yeah, Dolly's not lookin' her best in this video. But they sound really great together. Love this song!

  • OH, well, she looks like Dolly!

  • Good song, but Dolly Parton kinda freaks me out... looks like a Barbie doll, if Barbie was 80.

  • Rhonda come to Europe!!! She's "the one", the best ever!I haven't been able to be in a live concert yet, although I have the DVD. I also like Alecia Nugent or Alison Krauss, but Rhonda is the best for me. This song is very good and I'm glad she got to sing with Dolly! My best wishes!

  • Rhonda is awesome!! I have seen her at the Grand Ole Opry with my husband which you can't get a better venue than "The Grand Ole Opry"!!

  • I LOVE DOLLY!

  • you have no idea what you are talking about.dont get me wrong ,we need alison k to convert people to b/grass. A K is very good but its not the only thing thatz good.claire lynch, alecia nugent, lotsa really good b/grass out there.

  • liberalk78, What i'm talking about is Rhonda Vincent thinking she is Queen of Bluegrass. I'll take Alecia Nugent or Claire Lynch over her as well, but they are nowhere near the level that AKAUS or even Vincent.

  • im not to crazy about dolly parton but i love rhonda vin cent

  • Pure homegrown American talent and beauty.

    Just can't beat country girls!!!

  • fantastic!!!! real country thank you

  • omg fiddles banjos and strings

  • i'm really mad that she fired josh williams ... And o i have you beat keymel... I've been on her tour bus and actually gotten a CD given to me and signed!!

  • anyone have a copy of her "when I close my eyes" from a Mountain Satge episode?

  • love miss dolly and rhonda

  • She is the greatest bluegrass artist...

... if you think this is good you need to seee her live<3

    its incredible

  • I truly believe that Rhonda Vincent is the best, the one, the only bluegrass singer and musicien in our lifetime... she cannot be beaten....she's 100%bluegrass...I can't say enough ...she's the best...never was and ther will never be anyone like her again

  • i just saw this on cmt thought id look it up pretty cool.

  • never heard of rhonda vincent untill a week ago when i heard this song on mtv country im from ireland and our folk music sounds almost identical to some bluegrass music but we hardly ever hear proper super talented people like this girl of course dolly is always amazin. im defo gonna start listening to more.peace.

  • my second cousin Honey Brassfield wrote this song

    its great

  • saw rhonda in concert and got a cd signed, the band is awsome and rhonda sure is a looker!

  • awesome song. saw this video one time and downloaded it to my iPod. so great.

  • Totally love her, have her staring on My-Space

  • Amazing.

  • Nothin' hotter than a woman playing/singing bluegrass!!

  • This is a great video,those eye's could stop

    a train!!

  • Rhonda is THE female bluegrass artist.

    !Bluegrass rules!

  • Don't forget Mr. Kenny Ingran " The True Banjo Assassin".

  • Rhonda is an amazing musician, with a great voice. Dolly harmonizes very well off off Rhonda. Both beautiful women, talented, and sounds very well together.

  • I agree with you.

  • love dolly

  • is it just me or is rhonda smoking hottttttt? she is beautiful

  • I had the pleasure of standing guard for her at a bluegrass festival. I was impressed by not only her amazing talent, but by her openness to her fans. She spent well over an hour greeting fans, signing autographs and being photographed with fans and would not board her bus until all the fans had a chance to meet her.

  • Thats cool. I find alot of bluegrass artists are that way. I have the pleasure to know James King and he is the same way. I'm going to see Rhonda 9/1/07 at a festival in Woodstown, NJ.

  • i really love this song!

  • Damn you spammers to the firey pits of Hell!

  • Awesome voices....awesome song!!!...I love it!!!

  • Rhonda is, in my opinion, a living legend.

  • Geez Dolly Parton is ugly (My oppinion) but she can sing like hell. The both of them together in this song makes it my favorite country bluegrass song.

  • Hey dipshit, This is an extrememly talented, sincere muscian. Did you really have to plant some loser "boxcar-jumping" free advertising here?? Fuck you.....twice.

  • She's so awesome. playing with a blindfold, that fast. that's talent right there. and dolly parton! I love dolly Parton! thanks for putting this up here i love this video and song

  • its so cool how she can play so many instruments! i just MET her last weekend. she puts on a great performance too!

  • Awesoe ladys!

  • Great video, Very talented lady, and adding Dolly Parton was a Great touch.

  • shes too old for that guy anyways...thats why you dont date younger men

  • I like this song. I played it about 6 time in a row. I also how they did the music video.
