By far my favorite character in the comics. She's kind, willing to sacrifice for those that she cares about, and makes a much more realistic and like able girlfriend than a certain princess we all know.
I really hope mina and sonic get together in later comics I dont like sally and hope sonic doesnt marry her sorry sonally fans but she aggrivates me :\

I didn't know anything about Mina until now. She is 1 gr8t Mobian friend. I know now that in the future. She WILL marry Tails and they WILL have two kids. Their names r Melody Prower and Skye Prower. Skye is rather a shy little fox. Melody's a lot like her mom.
Mina is not a Mary-Sue because she's canon and Sues are fan characters.
Sure she's got unique talents but so do all the characters. The only thing that makes me think Sue-ness is the love triangle that focused on her and ended with her sacrificing herself for Sonic and Sally.
But it's sad that the comic doesn't have her more because you're right Mina was a very unique and cool character.

idk no offense or anything I just see mina a bit of a mary sue. Loves sonic at first sight, super speed, sings, and risks her life. But that was just the first half and then she started to become more original with ash.
1) She didn't love him at first sight. She was very unsure about him when they first met. She even scolds him for no reason when she messes up in her training.
2) Mina cannot keep up with Tails, much less Sonic. There are plenty of other characters in the series who have similar abilities to the original ones(Rouge and Cream for example)
3) Sally is a martial artist/genius/hacker/princess/leader of a group of rebels, but Mina can't be a popstar? o_0

Mina and Sally don't exist, they're made by Archie Comics not Sonic Team and they haven't even been seen in anything in the actual game series. Now the question remains, if most game characters have made an appearance in the Comic series, why have'nt we seen Cream and Cheese in it?

I think that the Archie comics were going to put her in, they had a plot for her, but Sonic Team said that they only wanted her to be in the games so they scrapped the idea.
I wouldn't mind Tails marrying Mina, as long as he has a girl in some type of canon, Comic or Game (hopefully they make a comic in which they explain how something like that happened in another comic).
i personally think that there is still a chance of mina being with sonic. i say this after several hours of studying comic scans. in the issue were ash saves her from bomb and she tells ash she loves him when hes recovering in the hospital she may not mean this. notice how she seems sad when she says this. this particular instance is called the "florence nightingale effect." it usually happens were ppl feel sorry for the injured and they say things they may not mean.
put yourself in ash's position for a moment: you have just saved your girlfriends life and got badly injured in the process. now as you are recovering she leaves you for another guy. how would you feel? if u ask me i think she didnt want to hurt his feelings. the same thing happened when she took the bullet for sally fired by nack the weasle (huge mistake in my opinion)
as for the whole thing with her marrying tails listen to this: the future can be changed. something may happen now that will change future events. also archie comics did say that 25 years later was one of many possible futures they had planned for and it didnt count as the actual future of what would happen (IE its not set in stone for 25 years later to happen)
that begs to ask, why didn't Mina simply say she didn't love Sonic the first time he asked? Why were all her songs about Sonic? Why'd Mina only say what Ash wanted after he nearly died? In her dear Aly letter Mina always knew Ash would move mountains for her. So I don't think it's as simple as explaining her change of heart as learning he'd bend over backwards for her. And even before proclaiming her love to Ash she said Sonic would always be in her heart.
in "Mobius: 25 years later", Mina does marry Tails. (which is why i'm more of a Mina x tails person) i don't know what happened to Ash, but according to my new fanfic Ash was moving away and thus broke up with her. Tails then tells mina to move on. after saying so Tails thinks Mina will say that he thinks too much. well actually she does say it but in a good way. she said she would rather go out with some one that thought too much than with Ash who didn't think at all. That's how it all started.
(you tube counted the original comment as too long oh well, here's the rest) When he tells Cream what happened she tells him that he took it the wrong way but he didn't care cuz he liked Mina before it all. later, Mina looks back on the morning and blushes. Apparently Tails DIDN"T take it the wrong way. (author's note: This takes place when tails is 13 and yes, tails remarks that the breakup was stupid. also, Mina calls him Miles :P (in the story of course))

I love Mina as a character - not as a companion for Sonic - I've always been a huge SonSal fan (although I know most people hate SonSal ; ; )
I've never really liked Ash though - I think Mina could do better. >> XD

put yourself in ash's position for a moment: you have just saved your girlfriends life and got badly injured in the process. now as you are recovering she leaves you for another guy. how would you feel? if u ask me i think she didnt want to hurt his feelings. the same thing happened when she took the bullet for sally fired by nack the weasle (huge mistake in my opinion)

as for the whole thing with her marrying tails listen to this: the future can be changed. something may happen now that will change future events. also archie comics did say that 25 years later was one of many possible futures they had planned for and it didnt count as the actual future of what would happen (IE its not set in stone for 25 years later to happen)

that begs to ask, why didn't Mina simply say she didn't love Sonic the first time he asked? Why were all her songs about Sonic? Why'd Mina only say what Ash wanted after he nearly died? In her dear Aly letter Mina always knew Ash would move mountains for her. So I don't think it's as simple as explaining her change of heart as learning he'd bend over backwards for her. And even before proclaiming her love to Ash she said Sonic would always be in her heart.

in "Mobius: 25 years later", Mina does marry Tails. (which is why i'm more of a Mina x tails person) i don't know what happened to Ash, but according to my new fanfic Ash was moving away and thus broke up with her. Tails then tells mina to move on. after saying so Tails thinks Mina will say that he thinks too much. well actually she does say it but in a good way. she said she would rather go out with some one that thought too much than with Ash who didn't think at all. That's how it all started.

(you tube counted the original comment as too long oh well, here's the rest) When he tells Cream what happened she tells him that he took it the wrong way but he didn't care cuz he liked Mina before it all. later, Mina looks back on the morning and blushes. Apparently Tails DIDN"T take it the wrong way. (author's note: This takes place when tails is 13 and yes, tails remarks that the breakup was stupid. also, Mina calls him Miles :P (in the story of course))

Mina does marry Tails.Hint:In one of the of Comics Sonic asks Tails "Mina and the kids...?" and tails said "I protected them like i did" or something like that.
Also,In one of the Sonic grams, the guy/girl said that mina and tails were married! Mike replyed saying they were both adventerous,young and playful.
