The Indian Government has just BLOCKED a patent application on Tumeric, I quote 'We will not allow anyone to patent something that we have known about for thousands of years'. Thumbs up for the politicians who made this decision - they must have turned down QUITE an offer. Nature is AWESOME!

they are speaking of curcumin (not cumin) the part of turmeric that seems to deliver the benefits. 10 years ago I used turmeric and hyperthermia to kill a very large rectal cancer tumor. the oncologist just shook their heads when I turned down radiation and chemo in order to keep my immune system and walked away from them. It's great stuff

I'm guessing that nobody ever told these guys that cumin and turmeric are completely separate plants? Cumin is the Cuminum cyminum plant. Turmeric is Curcuma longa plant.

dont buy it ,grow the plant yourself. Those comercial turmeric in a pot can have magnesium stereate which is bad for your health.

I eat arctic Char topped with Turmeric and ground black pepper, ive heard black pepper helps the effectivity of Curcumin...Ive just tried a teaspoon in milk and honey tonight and intend to use it each day...seems sensible...

I am very glad to have found this video on YouTube!! According to the information on many websites turmeric is very beneficial to the human body. I have one question though concerning the necessary use of Bioperine with turmeric. If the people in India, Pakistan, and other eastern countries experience less instances of breast cancer, etc., without the addition of Bioperine, why do we in the West need it? Why can't we just include turmeric in our diets as they do?

@albamadea I agree... I use tumeric as a base seasoning for all of the food I eat and I even use it in salad dressing. I also put a some tumeric and a couple of dashes of cayenne peppers in my ricecooker and make yellow rice. My whole family does this now...
