It's a 2 party system, it's not a democracy. The media is owned by these two parties. If the US go around the world and spread this US version of democrazzzzy, the planet is fucked! Instead of dictatorship with one party, US has two. The donkey and the elephant may fight all the time against each other, but when comes to the mutual enemy such as a third party, they will team up together.

The American Empire will fall soon or later, but by itself. You'll be lucky if Ron Paul wins. Otherwise you'll be alive to check the consequences, and the fact that the world needs peace. I'm spanish (from Spain, Europe). Spain's History is very rich, we also held an empire, and we learned the consequences of being the world's hiperpower, 300 years ago, when you didn't exist :) Among other reasons, that's why the Spanish society is democratic, pro-peace and tolerant nowadays.

Just because leftists and Ron Paul have the same views on the war in Iraq (through different reasoning, however), it doesn't mean Ron Paul would be a friend to a guy like Carlin, Gravel, or Kucinich.
