I wanted to set up a Ranger team when I lived at Samye Ling. Energy cycles and Earth cycles. Earth pig stuff? I think it would have fitted in well with the Dharmic teachings. I loved doing environmental work there. Some people only see the temple. I saw the flower! Never did get round to setting up the team but the ideas there just waiting for the right person. Namaste.

Most fortunate. You must have been among the first to visit Johnstone House. The centre certainly has developed and has a wonderfull atmosphere, but those first steps where spiritualy unique. A new beginning.
Have been to Samye Ling many times, this is very evocative. Love the soundtrack - I've lots of recordings but I don't recognise this. Can anyone tell me what it's from?
ave been to samye ling it was fantastic. It was great to see all the shrines to the buddha and avalokateshvara i think thts how is spelt. it was good to see buddhism in action

I grew up literally 2 minutes down the road from samye ling, This is also where my father spent alot of his time. His funeral started here too.

Beautiful place.I have been there a few times and I never want to go home again.
