John McGeoch really did push the Banshees to a new level. I think Severin said they bought out the best in him and he bought out them best in them. They really were never the same after he left. I always imagine how brilliant Nocturne / Hyaena / Dear Prudence would have sounded with him playing instead of Robert Smith. Maybe in an alternate reality... R.I.P.
Sioux is great at the end - "well I'm sorry your bored but if you can stand seeing UB40 your gonna fucking scream and shout. Too bad .. we're just a pop group, you know"
Maybe you guys can help do you know a song by Siouxsie and the Banshees that says something like, "Oh no penetrate, oh something oh great". Sorry I'm awful at remembering lyrics, thanks.
so musical

Kaleidescope is such an important album.
For me, Budgie's drumming really opened my eyes to something new. Happy House blew my mind as a teenager.
How any of the younger generation can overlook this band is beyond me.
