Got a kick out'a watching, liked the music, but, when I got a phone call, I paused it (doesn't matter that it was the third time watching. I'm a painter, too, and I really enjoy seeing the craft done by folks that know what they're doing)

So....I paused it, at marker 0:50. I didn't pay attention so much, but, when I got back to the screen, it was as if you were sitting there....a bit attitude (no pun intended).... waiting for the thing to continue.

wow, that's very nice. what kind of paint are you using? it doesn't look like oil, which is what i use.. acrylics maybe?

It's acrylics thanks for asking :) I generally use Golden, but I mix matt medium for glazes, and something called glazing medium by liquitex that I fell in love with

Watching you work is one of the most beautiful things I've seen on YouTube in a long time. Thanks for sharing this. I really hope to be able to buy one of your paintings before 2009 arrives. I know I mentioned it before, but you really should sell prints! I don't think it really devalues the original, and it would allow more people like me to buy your work! :) Anyway, keep up the good work!

This is a professional masterpiece, Olivia...

the transparent effect, the yummy colors, the combination of definite lines w/ shading,layering,blending,high­lighting... the bend in each fish's body, the flow of their movement...I look not at a painting but into the water they swim in. You seemed to be "with" the coy too, while you painted (?).

This is gorgeous! I love the brilliance of the colors and the way you rendered the transparency of the fins in the fish. What paint are you using? LOVE it!
