  • So you can afford a $500 handgun but not a $10 holster so you resort to cardboard? Smart.

  • If you can afford a gun much less the ammo, then go by a holster before you shoot yourself in the leg you idiot!

  • Dude really?? Splurge a little and spend $10 bucks on an uncle mikes pocket holster.

  • fail; did not cleared the weapon!

  • @cardonah who cares if he clears the weapon? nobody has ever been shot over the internet. I'm more worried about him carrying a chambered glock with a peace of cardboard in his pocket...

  • I have carried even a 1911 SOB with a clipdraw, doesn't print, doesn't move.... front pocket, I dunno, never been too comfortable with a weight that heavy in the front pocket

  • Now I know what the pinky hole is for...

  • If you can't afford a holster, you can't afford to carry a gun.

  • Very well done and very well explained. All the haters/trolls obviously didn't watch the whole video and LISTEN to your commentary.

What/how people carry depends on how/where they live. My purpose is mainly a secondary defense, so I choose concealment over quick draw. I have also had to experiment with different holster types for fit and function. $10 or $20 for a holster is expensive if it doesn't work for you.

It is good to get a more permanent holster once you know what works for you.

  • Yeah, I'm with everyone else on here. If you can afford a glock, you can afford a proper holster. But goodness, loose the glockblock and get a singe stack 9. I have carried with a Taurus 738 and now a Kel-Tec PF9(vids are up). They are light enough that my sweatpants drawstring locks them down enough I can break into an allout sprint n the pistol wont move. Guns get shipped in cardboard but shouldnt be carried in cardboard. This idea is an insult to CCW holders that practice safe carry methods.

  • If you know at all how to draw a gun properly you don't need a holster. I'm LEO and I just use the pocket clip for iwb. Cheap holsters can be just as bad as no holster. I think this personally is way to bulky for the pocket, but you people need to get off your high horses.

  • one of the dumbest things i've ever seen. if you have gun, a CCL, for fuck sake get a holster. you are giving CCL holders a bad name. A gun is no joke, you're not carrying a jelly donut in your pocket, it's a gun. don't carry until you get a proper holster. creativity is a good thing, not in this case though.

  • I know many LEOs feel uncomfortable about pocket carrying without a true pocket holster. If you can afford a concealed carry permit you can afford a $10 pocket holster from Uncle Mikes.

  • so now everytime i see somebody walking around with what looks like a VHS tape in there pocket ill know whats up.

  • The problem I see with this (besides using cardboard) is carrying a 27 in your front pocket, the Glock with a cardboard box wrapped around it will feel like you parked a oldsmobile in your front pocket. Get a single stack 9 or one of the true pocket .380s with a pocket holster and be happy. Pocket holsters are dirt cheap, forget about the cardboard thing, its just not rite.

  • @Amagieke Go to a Gun and Pawn Shop in your area. Take your gun in UNLOADED and in the holster you have it or in a towel. Let them look it over and make sure it's empty, then every shop I have been in will let you actually put that weapon in the different holsters they have on their shelves until you find one that fits and works with it. Can't beat that. But if your not comfortable doing that, and I understand if you are, E.Bay for you model weapon they have a lot of holsters.

  • You have to be insane to carry a Glock in a pocket like he suggests. just ask Plaxico Burris.

  • Plexico.

  • Your an idiot dude... Not safe.

  • This has to be a joke....

  • whats even more funny is how serious this dude is ...lol come on dude a pocket holster cost less than a box of ammo ..lol

  • This is by far the most unsafe way to carry a gun short of just putting it in your pocket. Not recommended.

  • thats baddass

  • You should make a video on how to get a cinder block in your pocket, might be less obvious

  • paper plate! im using cell phone technology

  • Yo dat cleva son... but check dis

I usually see homeboys get a paper plat and fold it dat way da curves conceal betta

    try dat on

respect, give me credit on your next vid

  • Dude, I would like to suggest to you. Get a real pocket pistol/revelvor. You may not think speed isn't important when it comes to drawing a weapon to defend your life. There are two people in a gun battle. The quick and/or the dead. Which one do you want to be! Unless money is an issue. Ruger LCP, Kahr P380, Kel-tec P3AT, S&W J-Frame w/enclosed hammer. These handguns are so light you can carry your G-27 in your IWB holster as well. Kahr PM9 or Kel-tec PF9 are little bigger and light.

  • WTF, if you can buy a gun, you can afford a $10 holster. I hope anyone who does this shoots themself in the leg...and if you bleed to death, you deserve it. Oh, don't even get me started on gun handling safety here. What a douche!

  • This is NOT the correct way to carry a g27 Please try a real holster that gives secure coverage to the trigger guard. Besides its safety being questionable, the concealment leaves much to be desired. If you want a cheap DIY look to kydex holsters.

  • @mxer723 Check the title of this vid. If someone had the $ to order kydex sheets and has his own workshop machinery, that person isn't poor IMO. This holster is a quick cheap temporary fix & it's better than having nothing at all. I've used this method for several weeks w/o any issues. Note that I mentioned that nothing else goes into that pocket for safety reasons. On concealment, I'd rather have a box outline print rather than that of a gun, as I've experienced with other pocket holsters.

  • @Qasarean I understand that, however, kydex can be had for under $5 per square foot. I am a "poor" college student, but I take the responsibility of carrying a firearm for personal protection, very seriously, and instead of buying a Crossbreed, or Raven holster, I made my own at less than half the cost.

Carrying in a real holster has several benefits, which when spending $500 on a gun, is a small price to pay to do it right. Remember, if its not easy to carry, you won't carry it at all.

  • @Qasarean if the person has a new Glock 27, they are not poor!

  • @Qasarean - If you were doing it for a day I can understand, and in that regards this is a excellent idea. But I am sorry if my pocket holster broke I would buy another one at the pawn shops that day or if ti was a weekend the next work day. If you can't afford $20 for at the very least a nylon pocket holster that breaks up the shape, then you shouldn't have purchased a $150 to $600 gun. A decent cheep holster cost less then a box of target ammo in 9mm Luger.

  • @Qasarean there is no reason to carry that warm unsafe is unsafe, you are a danger to yourself and others

  • @Qasarean you can make one out of a shampoo bottle

  • @Qasarean If someone had the $ to buy a $500 G27, why can't they buy a $15 Uncle Mikes pocket holster? You could still use your cardboard idea to break up the profile in a pocket though. I am happy it works for you, but I would not like to be sitting next to you. :)

  • @awfulgoodnesess I'll post an EDC vid so you'll see what I usually carry with me, I don't carry a lot. You've got to have some big pockets to stow a DE in your pants! "Are you happy to see me or is that a Desert Eagle in your pocket?" lol

  • I cargo pocket carry my G27 in a BlackHawk size 5 Inside-The-Pant holster. It's supposed to be a IWB holster but I find it works perfectly for cargo pocket carry. Uncle Mike's makes a near identical holster(their size for G27 is size 12) but I've never tried it. The one I have is cruddy for IWB carry though. I may just cut the clip off.

  • @voyager4520 good to know, the Uncle Mike's at the shop only had sizes 1-3. I looked at some of the IWB holsters & thought if I cut off the clip, those can probably fit in my pocket. I didn't want to take the chance though so I didn't buy them. I would like to wear cargo pants but at work, only khakis or dress pants are allowed (I wear jeans outside the office)

  • good points here i may have to do this

  • that's a really interesting concept..do you carry with 1 in the chamber that way?...thanks for making the vid bro.

  • @gwargwar1981 yeah man, I carry it with 9+1 rounds of .40 S&W JHP. You just have to be careful when inserting it to make sure nothing snags the trigger, but when it's in your pocket, it's pressed tight against your leg/cardboard. When you want to just slide a thin piece of cardboard to hide the gun, it's less bulky and I don't have any concerns about having 1 in the chamber...just got to remember not to put anything else in that pocket!

  • G27 FTW!!
