@AutoLineDaily Let's talk facts here, the cadillac has a 6.2 v8 like the e63, however it's supercharged which provides the additional power and hence makes it faster (551hp vs the 518hp in the merc). If the merc had a supercharger the cadillac would be blown away. But let's face it, there's no way the germans are going to take a boxy, unrefined and outdated piece of trailer trash like the cts-v seriously, so they won't bother (btw sls amg 6.2 v8 563hp, naturally aspirated now that's impressive)

I love this benz. AMG's seem to have an attitude about them that not many cars can match. Who cares about track times and acceleration numbers? These cars are all epic when it comes to speed, It's more about how it makes you feel, and it looks like this AMG e-class is finally the car it should've always been. Bravo Mercredes and AMG. I would take the comparable Benz over BMW every time except for the 3 series. BMW's 3 series is untouchable in my book.

@dcfan2222 Wild handling? Trust me, if you know how to drive, the C63 handles just as precisely as the M3 considering the C63 too crazy a load of naturally aspirated torque. When it comes to the track, the M3 is speedier around sharp corners but we are talking marginally. Also, take into consideration that the C63 weighs more. The M3 is the only thing I like from BMW, but the C63 has caught up to the 3-series, can't wait to see what the next generation C AMG and M3 will look like. Both are great

Cadillac is not just American car, it is top top of the line. If you can't afford a Rolls, or a Bentley...go Caddy.

@AutoLineDaily Let's talk facts here, the cadillac has a 6.2 v8 like the e63, however it's supercharged which provides the additional power and hence makes it faster (551hp vs the 518hp in the merc). If the merc had a supercharger the cadillac would be blown away. But let's face it, there's no way the germans are going to take a boxy, unrefined and outdated piece of trailer trash like the cts-v seriously, so they won't bother (btw sls amg 6.2 v8 563hp, naturally aspirated now that's impressive)

First of all, I love the amg line, and especially the E63 and S63. Is there an engine that sounds better? Did anyone else notice what looks like the gas tank cap flapping open around 1:43? I love this benz. AMG's seem to have an attitude about them that not many cars can match. Who cares about track times and acceleration numbers? These cars are all epic when it comes to speed, It's more about how it makes you feel, and it looks like this AMG e-class is finally the car it should've always been. Bravo Mercredes and AMG. I would take the comparable Benz over BMW every time except for the 3 series. BMW's 3 series is untouchable in my book.

@bmancodgta4 The M3 is easily BMW finest and most profoundly engineered production car but the C63 is JUST as breathtaking if you ask me. The sound alone is unmatchable and the C63 is acutally faster than the M3 when it comes to drag races (keep in mind 4 door vs. coupe). M3 is definitely a beauty, but AMG all dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

@dcfan2222 Wild handling? Trust me, if you know how to drive, the C63 handles just as precisely as the M3 considering the C63 too crazy a load of naturally aspirated torque. When it comes to the track, the M3 is speedier around sharp corners but we are talking marginally. Also, take into consideration that the C63 weighs more. The M3 is the only thing I like from BMW, but the C63 has caught up to the 3-series, can't wait to see what the next generation C AMG and M3 will look like. Both are great

i like bmw's but..say if the M5 was faster on the drag strip and the track all you beamer fans would include that into your viable argument to somehow prove the m5 is better..However in this case the Cadillac CTS V looks sexy badass, has a supercharged v8 engine either a LSA engine or ls2 or ls6..the new 2009 CTS V have excess of 550 horespower and over 500lb of torque, they handle better and are very fast. its not a bad car plus the luxury inside is nice. of course it will take years to gain
