I for one don't like some of Ostad Lotfi's comments about the experiments some of our younger musicians are doing and the way he condemns any tampering with the fabric of Iranian music. But every musician is entitled to his own opinion. AS for his music I like some of his work and dislike some other however that does not make him any less of a musician and I am sure a legend tomorrow. I always remember him as the person who help introduce Ostad Alizade to the World.

You keep mixing politics in your argument to get somewhere also felling sorry for other people there not "musician like you".!!!

As I told you I am not denying they were a lot of people before Lotfi they made their mark in our music and they would be more to come and Lotfi has his own foot print.

When looking at art we should measure the artistic value of the work not the political or even their personal values.

I believe after so many thousand years of culture we should have the maturity to differentiate that.

Let me tell you that his son Omid has a far better technic than his father!all he has played in the past are available and they speak for themselves. he has million years of light distance with Ostad Shahnaz.

استاد شهناز مایه افتخار موسیقی ایران است و با تارشان کارهایی کرده اند که یکی از دیگری برتر است. اما شارلاتانهایی مثل لطفی که در زمان شاه با کمک اتبهاج به رادیو آمد و بعد هم توده ای دوآتشه ای شد و الان هم برای خامنه ای و پای منقل ایشان مینوازد!مایه ننگ موسیقی هستند

please remember that before Lotfi was born many other great musicians had done their best to preserve and progress our music.starting from Vaziri, saba, Mahjoobi, Mousa and javad Maroofi, Khaleghi, Khaledi, Tajvidi, Paivar,Yahaghi, Badei Habib and Rahmatollah and ... worked so hard all these years without the huge supports that Hooshang Ebtehaj, Reza Ghotbi , Reza Pahlbod,gave to Lotfi! Please if you are not a musician do not judge our professional views point.

اشكال اساسي نوازندگان جوان اين است كه متاسفانه شناخت درستي از زيباي موسيقي ايراني ندارند. گناهي هم ندارند چرا كه اين هم از بركت نوازندگان بسيار ضعيف و بدي همچون لطفي , كه نگذاشته اند بزرگاني مثل استاد بزرگ تار جليل شهناز براي اين جوانان جايي پيدا كنند و دكان حضرات تخته شود
