The defender wouldnt be expecting it at all. thats why it works. Its the same premise as a double cross over.

a crossover is much different. a crossover is fast and all of a sudden. if you show the behind the back motion and just slowly wrap it around, its stolen in no time

What i mean is that the defender isnt expecting you to put the ball there, its the same premise as a double crossover because in the double cross, you already have him beat, hes not expecting you to cross back. Thats why it works, unpredictability.

any defender that can read plays knows that when somebody starts moving their arm behind their back, they are gonna do some sort of behind the back move. then as an even easier gift, they put the ball right in frnot of you. in this video, the defender just looks at rubio like he did some crazy 720 behind the back windmill dunk and lets him go by. no real defender would let that happen

I like his skillset and fundamentals. Many fault on his shooting but its not like the other PGs in the draft are better shooters. He's not going to be the all in one PG solution/savior like Deron WIlliams/Chris Paul. He'll need scorers to complement his team-centric oriented style of play.
