  • It is predicted that Lord Jaganatha will leave the original temple that will be destroyed and will go in another temple nearby in the same city.

  • Cow sacrifice in Hinduism - Dr. Zakir Naik.

  • Foreigners should be allowed inside the temple.

  • If Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is Jagannath HIMSELF, wanted to change it, HE would have. He did not want to change it for Haridas Takur, who is Namacharya. Instead Caitanya Mahaprabhu, visited and took Jagannath prasad, Himself everyday, personally to Haridas, who was born in a muslim family.

  • God will be happy if you serve him. But, if you serve his devotees then god will be very very happy. Just like if you hurt someone they feel bad still forgivable. But, if you hurt their kids there is no limit for anger and not forgiveble.

  • Prabhuji you are absolutely right. I am Hindhu by birth and Indian. But, learnt about god spirituality more from western devotees. Please allow him. This is not fair. Jagannath is not Indian Nath or piece of land nath. so, management has to prove it by allowing sincere devotees.

  • Another thing, this rishi does a good job using the Veda's to prove these priests are acting abhorrently

But really its a common sense thing, you don;t need the veda's to see that these Jaganatha preists are racist, corrupt, tyrannical and fascist. It is simply common sense.

  • Truth is these so called 'Brahmans' are the most disgusting, racist, fascist criminals, they do not have a righteous spiritual bone in their body.

  • Really this type of discrimination will ultimately turn bad if not handled in time. There is no written evidence in any scripture of Hindus.

  • It is upsetting to be barred from the temple, as if you are a lesser being. In the divine world we are all of equal spiritual worth. In the church everyone is welcome. It should be like this in the Hindu temple as well. Its amazing that such prejudice continues in this day and age.

  • this man is an incredibly learned pundit

its is a crime he cannot enter to see Lord Jagganath

this man is a pure devotee

he is right the pujaris have no knowledge of the Vedas, they are just practicing empty ritualism

  • True 100%

  • Pure knowledge.

  • bro even not all indians are allowed to enter the temple

there is a seperate caste who can go inside the main temple

  • this is a slap on the face of those racists...just see hoe learned heis...!!! He is the real HINDU.......

  • He criticise lot i am agree with his argument.but he should not see Jagnaath in temple only . krishna is every where and everything. he also talk like pandita and I remark that- person who is holding mike he look like brahimin. he has gaytri thread on his sholder!!!

  • Jagannath means the God of the universe.

Sarve bhavantu Sukhnaha, Sarve shantu niramaya, Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Maakschit Dukhabhat Bhavet.

  • THese stupid mother fuckers are the ones who ruin Hinduism. They fuck it up so badly, It takes a foreigner to make them see sense. Jackasses. I wish the govt. would arrest them and put them in jail for discrimination. Krishna is for all, for the poor and the downtrodden. THis guy has given them so many good examples yet they simply dont get it!!

  • Cast exclusion is shameful. But regarding non-hindus entering the temple, I am against it too. Non-christians cannot even get the holy communion... What is wrong with that? Of course, a foreigner who is a devout hindu, who is not there to take pictures, but is devoted to Krishna, will be able to enter the temple. Tourists who want to chit chat, or activists who enter temples to break havoc should not be allowed.

  • Better to build a more magnificent Jaganath temple in Puri and only allow low castes and non-indians in. Maybe then the so-called caste born halfwits will realise what Kali yug idiots they are.

  • Balinese Hindus were also stopped from entering that temple. It is stupid ignorance on the part of the temple authorities.

  • We don't know the entire story of what happened here. That said I do know that some temple priests and temple administrators are real jerks - especially when it comes to discrimination against others showing up for services at Hindu temples. Christians and Muslims do a better job of inclusion at their places of worship - Hindus have a long way to come in this regard.

  • krishna bhakta vrinda ki jai!!

  • i am a convert...thank you for speaking for us!!! i agree that non-devotees should not be allowed though! temple is not for sightseeing!

  • Bhagavad Ramanuja`s words of everyone equal from the mouth of someone after so many years.

Very true.everyone is equal, you canot decide on behalf of god.

  • @goodhal81 Of course everyone is equal. Therefore, why is christianity and muslims claiming their's is the only truth? Equality does not mean everyone goes everywhere...

  • @rambrasil Obviously, caste discrimination is shameful. But one should not allow non hindu tourists enter a temple.

  • @rambrasil

he is not a tourist he is a hindu.....

  • @rambrasil

and anyone even non Hindus should be allowed to enter temples.

  • Also no one NEEDS a temple according to our sacred scriptures. Even a stone is Lord Jagganath, because God is there for all his devotees. I think we should forgive ignorance, but that does not mean permissivity. Our temples have survived genrations of invasions... Let us recognize some merit. And improve what can be improved.

  • Good lesson to racist Indians. I find them most racist among people around the world.

    From : an Indian origin.

  • It is unfortunate that certain temples are not open to everyone. However not all temples are this way. It is due to the local rules applied by olden day kings/priests that are the reason for this. If you goto south india, you could goto pretty much any temple without issues except for kerala. Muslims, christians too could goto a hindu temple and the hindus goto churches and mosques. That is south India for you.

  • @tamilanblog thats not true I have been in Tamil Nadu and I did myself had trouble...

  • @SuliLulu What do you mean by you had trouble. Everyone will have some type of trouble if he tries to get into the garbagraha. Where the priest alone goes in. This is a fundamental difference between north and south. In north, everybody could go and touch the deities if they would like. However in south, only priests have direct access to the main room. Beyond a certain line, whether you are a local or foriegner you cannot go in. Please give me the temple name where you had any trouble.

  • @tamilanblog it was Kapaleeswarar Temple in Chennai. The prist did acept our offering and we was waiting for blessing & Prashada when a men freaked out and made us leave! No of cause we did not trieng to go into the garbagraha even if we would have never been in India and even if we would have no sence at all it would just have been not possible to go into garbagraha!

  • @tamilanblog But on the other hand I was inside the garbagraha with a priest, he took me in... that was in Tiruvannamalai the Annamalai Tempel. That was the most wonderful energy and blessings I got.

That why I love India where Extremes meets.

  • @SuliLulu Sorry you had trouble.. There are some difficult people everywhere I guess...

  • @tamilanblog Maybe Kerela , but in Tamil Nadu I a person of punjabi decent was not allowed becuase they the priests refused to believe panjabi people were hindus. That was until my tamil aunt pleaded with them and managed to convince them. This was a temple in Kanchipuram.

  • This sucks man, just because someone isn't born a Hindu or from lower caste, he isn't allowed to enter the temple. Man this should be stopped at all costs.

  • well i guess he must hv been living in India for a very very long time.

  • Hare Krsna, My most humble obeisance to all Vaishnavas. Im sorry for the non indian / hindu devotees of Lord Jaganatha, but please do not curse the securities. They r only doing their duty, dont hate them for that. Krsna has a reason for why things are being in any situation. Its our own demerit karma that refrained our chances of seeing Him in Bubhaneshwar. Simply by viewing the Chakra on top of the temple is equallant to view Jaganath Himself.

May jaganath always smile upon all of you. HK

  • HINDUISM,it can't be explained only can be experienced.....................

  • @TheShuryansh Yes, I'm sure the millions of Dalits know that experience well.

  • it is bloody hypocrite indians and stupid mainstream hindus who cause all this problems.

  • @Oohviyakiruki Yet, activists entering and disturbing temples, is ok? This is hipocrisy too... I am sorry but our temples have been destroyed by christians and muslims over the centuries. If a sincere devotee appears, meaning a hindu, no matter cast or origin, he should be allowed in. Others, shouldn't be allowed in every temple. I have visited the Vatican, and I am not allowed into various places, since I am not Christian.

  • Why is he talking with an Indian accent? But it is true, these peeple in charge of thee tempil and keeping the white devotees out of the tempil will suffer and die a miserable death!

I will dance on their graves and laugh!

  • He haves a misunderstanding of followers of Jesus. Just like many Christians have a misunderstanding of Hindus. Systems and rituals made by men discriminate. But God doesn't discriminate. Even in Christianity we are going thru the same persecution as the man said in this video. These people of power think they are superior to others. They follow their own will, yet they won't follow the will of the Father, the Creator God. Men with human "titles" don't represent God. God say's come as you are.

  • Its ok to exclude non-hindus. But this man is a Vaishnava Hindu. This is a herrendous aparaadha and apachaara. The Vedic shastras and Vedic Rishis and mahatmas are clear. Even if a devotee is a dog eater or Mleccha if he is devoted to Krishna than he should be accorded all respect for he is dear to Sri Vishnu and his beloved consort. Better to offend god than his devotee!

  • God punishes those who do evil to his servants

  • why? if someone comes in sincerity and faith. it is not right. all are God's children and part of creation. i can see if someone was being disrespectful.

  • @thissar

What do you mean it is ok to not allow non-Hindus? Horrendous aparaadha, apachaara, shastra, veda, rishi, mahatma! Wow! You throw words around like toffees!

Vasudhaa eka kutumbam. Realize your stupidity.

  • @orabackup What I mean is that it should not be for tourists. Only those seeking the blessings of Sri Jaganatha Svami should be allowed to enter. Many Muslims get darshan and blessings of Sri Tirupathi Balaji which is OK. But tourists should be kept out.

  • Prabhu This country is ruled by Pseudo seculars and caste mentality low class leaders. Wake Puri pandas. Dont contribute to weak hinduism.

  • 'he is the one that will born in the western countries, this pujari will have a white body and will use it to distribute sacred books like bagavata purana and bagavad gita as it is .jai srila acbsprabhupad ki jay from mexico with lov e jambavan das a.

  • once two white body vaisnavas went to see their Lordships sri sri radha-raman in vrindavan, one of the oldest temples in india, when the pujari finished the artik, pooja was finished he closed the curtains and went to give some prasad to the âmerican^ devotees ,he said to them ,-if you keep that devotion and admiration for rada raman,in your next life youllborn here in vrindavan and you ll serve rada raman, they went told srila prabhupad swami maharaja, and acbsp guru maharaja saidki jay he said

  • tis pandas will born in iskcon in their next life and they will distribute s.prabhupadas books doing harinam sankirtan along hollywood boulevard, they will have to get white bodies

  • Although the essence of what he says is correct, there are a few places that need clarification. The Pandita Sama Darshana verse, 5.18, means the pandit sees equality on the spiritual platform. He sees they are not the body but brahman, spirit. The equality is not on the material platform. Otherwise why not have the elephant on the altar or the dog in the kitchen cooking for the deity. This material equality is condemned in texts 18.47 and 3.35. The point he is making is better shown in 9.30-33

  • There are no walls that can separate the Lord and His servant. Even without seeing the Lord in the temple, a pilgrim can feel his presence on the altar of his heart. The separation that the "outcaste" devotee feels brings him an intimacy that may not be had so easily in the temple. May we always remain the humble servant of Lord Jagannatha's servants.

  • He is perfect, indeed well said listen so-called administrative people and learn something from him.

  • Rather it is the plan of the Lord to see his devotees feel more dependent upon Him, become very humble and take everything as reciprocation of His mercy. Such is the glory of His devotees. This sadhu, although not able to see the Lord, is continuing his service to the Lord Jagannatha. Therefore he is very fortunate. Off course Lord want to get maximum from His devotees, so He continues such pastimes. Otherwise for Lord it is not difficult to change something.

  • Similarly Kanak Das in Udupi, Lord did not instruct his worshipers to change temple rules but He himself turned his face to see His devotee. Such is the amazing and loving reciprocation of the Lord with His devotees. Otherwise it is not very difficult for the Lord to instruct his worshiper in dream or some other way that allow this or that person.

  • Lord Jagannatha is very merciful and omniscient. He knows everything. A pure devotee takes all such things as reciprocation of the Lord without complains. In fact he never thinks himself a high devotee to see the Lord. Srila Haridasa thakur considered him so fallen that he did not go to the Puri temple. But Lord being pleased with devotion use to carry prasadam for him. Therefore Lord reciprocates with his pure devotee but in his own way as to take personal interest in His devotee.

  • Thank you Jahnava Nitai das! If I can, I wish to broadcast your views again and again over television.

  • I hope who so ever Priest, pandit etc who do not let people to enetr in temple burn in hell and reincarnated as a pig in next birth! Hare Krishna!

  • I thought of asking his name but does that matter, thought of asking his origins but does that matter, thought of asking why he is not wearing the thread, but then again, does that really matter?

  • Does the Gentleman in the video has an address? a telephone number..please. I am willing to pay for that!

How true, profound and simple were his explanations...I am willing to serve him as a disciple

  • You are a learned person and have true knowledge. Good. The temple authorities must ponder deeply.

  • i hope the puri temple lear some thing from this . this is why people convert . wake up please ........

  • This is how a pandit should speak! Thank you Jahnava Nitai das.

  • very wise man!

  • What accent is that?

  • gud very gud

  • Excellent views, brother. How r the temple admins going to know if an Indian muslim/christian enters the temple? Is relgion defind by the color of the screen? At a time when Islam and Christianity are sending out 'salesmen' to gather converts,Hindus are driving away people who want to embrace this religion.Shame on the Pandas and the Srimandir administration. The temple should be opened to all Hindus, irrespective of caster, sex, color.God bless you brother.

  • well said..

  • Bhagavad Gita, which contains the essence of Vedas and Upanishads, has many Shlokas that echo the Vedic doctrine of oneness of humanity. Lord Krishna declares that He is the friend of all creatures (Suhridam Sarva Bhutanam) and reiterates that the Lord has the same affection for all creatures, and whosoever remembers the Lord, resides in the Lord, and the Lord resides in him. As per Bhagavad Gita, the Lord resides in every heart (Ishwar Sarva Bhutanam Hrudyeshe Tishthti).

  • though not religious yet i completely agree with this gentleman's point of view.infact this should be adopted in all of the religious shrines and places.if only we could also have the same perspective towards religion like him.bravo!! p.s:i am from orissa and have been to puri many a times.i have seen foreigners stand outside and admire the beauty only because they are not allowed entry inside.sad!

  • you are one talented man. You are one of those few people who knows what they are talking about. Keep it up, i think u look like JOhn Lenon.
