I was totally agreeing with this man until 38 minutes, it is not we that have it in ourselves to change, we can accept Gods call to change us. Romans 12:2 says: Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind*

it is God who gives all that is good, if we accept it, we can change, we have it in us to accept it this is true, but we cannot work this change by ourselves.

@sintje21 God won't come down to dig a well to quench ur thirst my friend. U have to mend ur own ways and find ur own clues. Changes is totally on us and its ur choice if u wish to change but its not ur destiny. U are who U want to be!.

Did the speaker make a mistake? I have learned from Ahulus sun wal jamaah about Qadr. but i have never heard those two contrasting opinions that seyed ammar talks about.

The speaker did not make a mistake...Mu3tazila usually believe in Free will and Asha3ira usually believe in Predestination. You can find it in the books of Asha3ira and Mu3tazila
