Someone should also let the Men at the door know that, believe it or not, it is in fact possible to advance into the structure and put the fire out. I don't understand why smalltown firemen LOVE the straight line attack. We have fog and semi fog for a reason. Maybe modern firefighting technique just hasn't reached this dept. yet.
Why is it taking so long to get water on the fire? Why would you need tankers in a Residential area? I'm not seeing why so much house is lost when 2 inside lines and a deck gun for the roof would have knocked most of the out in two minutes. The description just says water issues. It's a residential area even in small towns Hydrants are required , so what' was the problem? Why did these men let so much house be lost?
