I remember this! I was somewhat scared when the first hand gave that 'claw-like' response to the other hand to tell it to stop 'bothering' the first hand, and also the end when the first hand points up with the feather 'tied' onto it. No offense or racism intended, but I always associated that with Native Americans wearing feather headdresses. Now if only we could get the other two hand clips, with an egg, and knocking on a wall!
I just saw the "ping pong ball/egg" film featuring the two hands. It was featured on Episode 1257, which is part of a package available through iTunes called "Sesame Street Classics, Vol. 1". I don't have the ability to upload anything from those episodes.
I never thought that I would EVER see this clip again! Now find the two in the series that are still missing, and and the cipher will be complete! My God, those early "Sesame Street" skits were so bizarre! Peace.
I definitely remember watching these hand segments from sesame street during my childhood.I also recall the other three. The one about the hand that wanted to make a noise.Another one featuring a hand and an egg.Lastly,a hand communicating with another hand in which there was a wall between them. This resulted in the hands knocking on the wall and discovering that there was someone on the other side.It would be really cool to see these segments updated, since the film is old and grainy.
this was one of the dumbest clips ever

After some comparison, I've discovered that these are the same hands that performed "There once was a hand" in season one (Skip Hennant narrating)
