Excellent version, Lynch and Badalamenti, made Rosselini a great singer. The film is over a quarter of a century and still remains powerful. The song version, to accomodate with Lynch Style has some creepy moments. Lynch is in my opinion the greatest director alive.
I only saw this movie one time but it was one of the better that I've seen. The actors fit perfectly to the roles. Isabella was astounding not only to the eyes and ears but her skill as an actress is amazing as well.
