@mickellemastra , use the "-hires" in the target line of your game shortcut ,without the "". Will enable you to get a higher resoulution for your screen.
Oh man, i thought that u can play only f16 with this game. can u play Mirage too? Plz tell me where to find oponents to play online, are there many there, in a lobby perhaps? I play il2 coz there r many players there, but i dont like ww2 too much.
@mickellemastra : In all of Falcon family sims (Allied Force, Open Falcon, FreeFalcon, Red Viper) you are able to fly any aircraft with solid wings (B52, F117, F15, Mirage, MiG-29, F22, you can start the campaign for the red side and try to fight against blue NATO side.
Funny about looking for mates to fly. I'm flying Allied Force with Czechoslovak Virtual squadron (web: falcon-4.com) and was today asking my mates who will fly with me. You can join us.
@tiopos : Read the manual. It's the best way ho to learn such things. If you aren't able to fire how do you think you will manage the whole complex and realistic avionics, weapon systems and radar in Falcon family simulators? Or return to game called Lock-On, you will done all of these by one keypress :)
@Butcher851, well aware of that, just thought scramble added to the feeling of the video. The enemy airfield was pretty close and there where migs about to take of so in a small sense it might be called a scramble.
@dixievfd55 Yes, Swedish tech was superior back then, but lack of funds had stopped their developments.
BTW: In early '60, when nobody even dreamed about something like datalink Sweden operated it successfully, with ground-based radar guiding fighters to their targets. That system was classified, pilot couldn't even mention it's existence in radio comms. Only communicate "Flying by instruments" was said when the system recieved a data from ground station.
@adamlslda Sweden was also the first to implement canards on all of their fighters as well as being the first to implement STOL aircraft. I have a picture somewhere of Viggens rolling down a country road. Some of the things they do still have not caught on over here. Like using the K. I. S. S. method in designing effective fighters. When they designed the Grippen, the philosophy was "smaller is naturally stealthier."
@webdisciple Wrong, a scramble is an incoming threat and get the planes airborne, not bombing. Changing it to something like quick strike would be more appropriate.

Since when is a "Scramble" mission an A-G bombing? A Scramble mission is an intercept mission, not an A-G strike.

@webdisciple The Viggen is a very unique fighter. A good example of Saab's forward thinking.
