@evilsandwich2 This video is completely missing the point. I don't understand how something SO PLAINLY OBVIOUS can be missed by a whole institution + a news channel. Turn off the RF generator and the flame will stop.

Not only that RF generators are NOT efficient. The heat produced by that flame will also be less than the electricity used to make the RF in the first place.

Also put that flame in a car engine and it will do nothing, not even slightly enough power to run an engine on.

Oxygen and Hydrogen are not easily found in the atomic form, they immediately tend to the more stable "molecular" form; thats why the products of electrolysis are O2 and H2 , the molecular forms of Oxygen and Hydrogen.

Exactly. the energy that the RF generator uses is going to be ALWAYS higher than the energy liberated by the flame.

You guys think of water as the stable low energy state of Oxygen and Hydrogen combined, in order to separate those component we have to PROVIDE energy and we get a less stable (higher internal energy) mix of separated molecules of Hydrogen and Oxygen. Now those gases like to combine back into the lower energy form (water H2O) releasing the previously absorbed energy. Junk News.

Actually, not really junk news... There have been a number of guys who have done this since the 80s. The electricity used is in the order of a few hundred thousand volts, and about 45k htz (Tesla style), combined, from what Stanley Meier calls his 'voltage intensifier circuit' to reduce the AMPs. Reacts differently with the H2O molecule. Lots of stuff online about it.

Very true, energy is required. The form of electrolysis that is described here (if it is the same process that Stanley Meier uses) does produce hydrogen at room temperature... Therefore it requires a lot less energy and wastes a lot less energy, making it extremely efficient. The process was patented in the US, and last I heard, the patent ran out in June-ish 2007. People have been using this process to run their cars on water since the late 70s/early 80s.

Having an efficient electrolysis process is good for an H2 producer plant when we want to pump the produced H2 into our car "gas" tank.

But if your intention is to pump WATER into your "gas" tank things are different as there's no way any H2O separation process can achieve efficiencies higher than 1. As I said like 4 times before; separating water requires more energy than the one obtained back.

Chemical energy of the water is used in the process (hence why some disappears), just like the chemical energy in jet fuel is used in turbines. The difference is the jet fuel is atomised before it is ignited, where the water is separated using a different electrical volt/freq combination to the traditional method, much like what Tesla had powering the globes in his power station. I don't believe anyone is claiming to be achieving efficiency greater than 1. The process is well documented...

... The electrolysis method that you are referring to releases a lot of heat when the molecule returns to it's lower energy state, as you point out. The method above is different to what you would have been taught at school or university as very little heat is released. The different grade of electricity produces a different result and you can find lots of information about it online.

That depends upon whether the salt (NaCl) is serving as a catalyst or reactant that lowers the amount of external energy required to liberate the hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) from the water (H2O). If that is the case, in effect the exothermic reaction "burns" salt to produce oxygen and hydrogen and then re-combines (burns) hydrogen and oxygen to produce water vapor.

The by products should be some clorate and sodium compund, maybe sodium clorate or sodium oxide or something, if it works.
