depends on what class you are. as an infiltrator, i used wrex and kaiden or liara and garrus, since that way you get equal stats in all three categories. i chose to do the romance sub-plot with liara sort of because of this, and also since i needed kaiden, lol. ashley was a dumb racist bitch, let her set off the nuke while i saved the salarian commandos XP
