It isn't shown or even referenced in the show or manga, but Tite Kubo released the Bleach unmasked databook which has that, they were apparently healed by Oriheme. Don't go looking online at it yet though, wait until you've finished the season. There isn't much in the ways of spoilers, but the ones that are in it are best avoided.

She can't heal certain deaths (such as when Ichigo died and then went into his 2nd Hollow Form) and whenever she is under emotional stress, her powers don't work properly (prime example being Tsubaki)

I still like her as a character, she needs to fight once in a while, but every character has flaws.

I don't think it's got anything to do with willingness, actually. You see, her power is the combination of "restore time" and "restore place". In other words, it's "restore every f*cking thing" or " heal every wound". As long as the person is alive and the wound is not severe enough to kill him immediately, she can heal it. That's why i hate inoue so much: her power is like overkill, super amazing, yet she doesn't use it properly and instead always do nothing but whine XD

@KingKraid the thing is it wasn’t her power Aizan was calling weak it was the fact that she could have broken out of Hitsugaya's ice prison but didn't, didn't attack when Hitsugaya and Toshiro were distracted and ended up without defeating anybody when she could easily have. She fought but didn’t put any effort in to it her weakness was that part of her it wasn’t a problem with power it was her attitude.

Ichigo could probably beat Toshiro, Grimmjow 6th espada gave him a run for his money Ulquiorra 4th beat Ichigo numerous times even when he had his mask on. If that was her full power and it wasn't enough to even break the ice prison then I'm sorry WTF was she doing as the 3rd espada.

Ulquiorra was stronger than the third because of his second release that no one knew about. Otherwise, 3rd espada should be stronger than the 4th. plus she was fighting 3 people at once later. It seems she was underestimating toshiro's move thinking she was gonna break out of it.
