It was probably the hardest aerobic workout I've ever done (which is saying a lot since I've been doing running and swimming for many years) and the heavy bag stuff made my striking power a lot better. So basically it was really cool, except there's a lot of emphasis on getting the technique exactly right (like I had to relearn how to jab, lol)
