YOU SAID, " It's amazing with so few visitors that they can earn enough money to maintain the place." IT'S AMAZING BECAUSE THEY DON'T MAINTAIN THE PLACE WITH EARNINGS FROM VISITORS. ALL CASTLES ON THE NATIONAL TRUST REGISTRY POOL REVENUE SO THAT UNVISITED CASTLES LIKE CRAIGIEVAR DON'T FALL INTO RUIN.
This video shows the peace and serenity surrounding Craigievar Castle - our home for 2 weeks in Sept/Oct of 2001. Tours are only possible in summer as the castle has no artificial lighting. The original family lived there from 1626 until the early 60s with no electricity - that's how original this 17th century castle has been kept. (Our cottage, the Steading, had electricity!) It was fun to have the grounds to ourselves after hours and we experienced a full moon! No ghosts though.
Can you really bank $43,945.75 in 30 days with ZERO investment? Here's what I know about it. People will do it with... Passive Income Advice [dot] com.
I love it when someone talks in the video and we have an idea of the surroundings! Thanks for this-I LOVE Scotland so much. Exactly where is this near? And don't you love those passing spots in the road! OMG!! I had a knee jerk reaction everytime I'd meet someone in one of those lanes---SCARY!
My great grandmother was born in this castle. Her father was the head of the Scottish Clan FORBES. I've only been on the outside of the castle. Never on the inside unfortunately :( It's an amazing castle.
Very cool. I don't remember the name of the keeper but I remember he said that he's been doing it for a very long time. We stumbled onto this castle because it was along the freeway / route we made to tour castles along the countryside.

This place is about 20 minutes from where I live, but I've never been there.

That's freaking awesome. It's so cool to have so many castles on the side of the road.

Great video, I was there in '91. I wonder if the grounds keeper is still David Mackay? Thanks for the video!
