  • Now thats old school country!

  • Donna Fargo (born Yvonne Vaughn in High Point, NC) was and is a great singer and songwriter. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1979 and her story would make an inspiring movie. If there ever was a movie made about Donna's life, my choice for the role would be Selma Blair, who bears a striking resemblance to Donna.

  • I wish this style of singing was still around! They has such feeling in their voices, the leading ladies of country music! I look up to these ladies and try to model myself after that same feeling in my band. :)

  • this song still makes me cry...i heard it the first time up in Alaska and i cried cus my daddy was in texas...and it's this song that made me come home....with daddy's help.

  • @arinvests After doing some research, the song you make reference to is actually a song sung by Susan Raye. Donna Fargo did not do this song.
