  • Ronnie's spiked hairstyle is so incredibly today!! Such a beautiful voice - this compliment from one who typically prefers instrumentals. Few today realize this TV show honored only the most outstanding Americans, or that Polio was an ever present threat prior to vaccine. Ronnie's determination to sing again and achieving that goal is a legacy to inspire us all. And I might never have heard of him but that another video comment brought a response from one of Ronnie's most devoted admirers!

  • wonderful and sad. Great voice.

  • oops, never mind. sorry about that. (didn't watch the whole thing.)

  • why did he think he was there? (i ask because i don't know how they were able to get him to sing on camera without him becoming suspicious.)

  • @Booboo9921 They asked him to come to NBC to do a promo for March of Dimes. He was on a different sound stage. This is Your Life had planned event for months. As you see Ralph Edwards enter the soundstage, Ronnie is sitting in front of The March of Dimes poster thinking he is doing this for polio victims. It was timed that way without Ronnie knowing. Edwards entered the other sound stage with Ronnie singing, and that was the beginning of the show. He was in total shock,Trust me I know!

  • He was the best!

  • @Visionsla The closest to the young Frank Sinatra that's ever come along. His work with Ray Anthony was superb. Very sad what happened to him.
