I think i read somewhere, someone was calling out Ford, saying Ford is using Pro Comp lifts on these factory prepared trucks. Pro Comp is the last brand i would chose considering all the brand choices for a F250. Guys on forums rag on procomp alot, so yea, why is ford trying to pass it off as a 10k lift package. Thats probably a $3500 setup with rims&tires
Id like to get a 2011 f350 with a 6.7, in about 5 or 10 years. Id get the lariat or king ranch, they come with 34" tires standard, 20" wheels, but they are proportionate. Id do a dpf delete 5 inch exhaust and a leveling kit. I think it would have the perfect stance.
That truck has a 6" ProComp lift on it done by 4 Wheel Parts. The wheels are 20's and the tires are 65" Toyo Open Country MT's. Decent lift, great tires.
Frontier Ford sucks though.. Won't ever buy anything from them.. I tried and was a horrible experience.
So far my 6.7 has been great, no issues with it at all. Only thing I wish was better is the fuel mileage.
@Jsn350Z Great info man! Thanks for that. I understand that a lot of fuel is burnt for the new emission systems to generate heat that ultimately is used to reduce emissions. Weird concept .. burn a lot of extra fuel so that all the fuel you are burning is burning cleaner. At the end of the day I don't see how that's helping the environment, but technically I guess all they need to do is meet the emission levels, regardless of MPG.
@Reverseflush Details please. The dealers probably only care that the truck is lifted and looks a certain way, just to sell more to certain buyers. They probably don't put much effort into the quality or performance and just want it to have that look and be the cheapest cost to them. Personally, I would not buy a dealer-modded truck. Modding my own truck is the whole point! So what lift would you recommend?

@tom58c Yeah they are beautiful! I'm still researching for a sign of engine problems but not finding anything yet that looks like a pattern or serious problem. Of course it would take this engine being out in the world for some time for certain issues to develop in some cases.
I just added a bunch on info about the engine to the description.
There definitely is a HUGE amount of complexity added. But .. they seem to be passing very rigorous testing and real world abuse already! We'll see.

@Jsn350Z Actually, might be a 4" but I swear 4 Wheel Parts told me 6" when I saw it at their shop.

@maxhauler Yeah.. The emissions BS is crap and makes no sense to me either.. I'm with ya 100% on that.
And I meant the tires are 35's not 65's lol.. Whoops

@maxhauler The lift kit in your video is a pretty good quality kit. Like everything else with each dealership YMMV.

@HalQuiramTV f350 king ranch! pretty awesome truck in either year! i guess the big difference would be the engine.

@maxhauler hes actually not going to trade it in he just likes the new trucks
