but please check you pinyin, "xīn nián" not xing1 nien2 . There are many mistakes on your pinyin. If you would like to be a good Chinese teacher you should check your pinyin.

I would very strongly urge Chinese students who're thinking of coming to the UK to undertake undergrad or postgraduate studies to NOT enrol at the University of Dundee. in all honestly your version of the pinyin is better...cuz i can SEE the sound i'm supposed to make. and that's more helpful than remember what the number is to which sound...keep up the great work.
